🐾🐶🐕NEW MUM ALERT 🐾🐶🐕

We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to Ollie the blue heeler, who is proving to be a remarkable mother to her adorable puppies.

Following her Caesarean a couple of weeks ago, we have conducted a follow-up check and are delighted to find that Ollie is doing fantastically.

We are so excited to see how big those pups get when they get vaccinated and microchipped because at 1 and a half weeks old they already weighed over a kilo!

Can anyone guess what breed these pups are mixed with??!!

UPDATE: The puppy’s are half American Akita!!

Mivet will be closed over the ANZAC Day long weekend as we take time to honour and remember those who have served.

🐾 We will reopen as normal from Tuesday the 28th.

EASTER HOURS

Mivet will be closed from Good Friday (April 3rd) through to Easter Monday (April 6th).
We’ll be open as usual on the days before and after this period to care for your pets.

If you need to top up on any medications before the weekend call up, and we can organise to get it to you.

🐣 Easter Safety Reminder 🐣

Chocolate is toxic to pets, especially dogs. Around Easter, cases of chocolate poisoning increase significantly, with vets often seeing a spike in emergency visits due to accidental ingestion. Even small amounts can make your pet very unwell.

Please keep all chocolate and Easter treats safely out of reach.

Today we say a very bittersweet farewell to our wonderful Vet nurse, Kasey, who has been with us for 7 years. ❤️‍🩹

Thank you for your compassion, joy, and endless care you have shown every person and pet that has walked through our clinic doors. From caring for injured and sick animals to cuddling all the puppies, your hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed or unappreciated. You have always gone above and beyond for this clinic and its clients, and you will be sorely missed. 🐾🫶🏼

While we are sad to see you go, we’re all so incredibly proud of you for taking this next step and heading off to uni. We know you will accomplish all you set your mind to. This is only the beginning of your very bright future. 🩺
