Shanti Soul

While we only had the one Tibetan Mastiff for the whole year, that puppy meant so very much to us and giving that puppy to a lovely man was special to us.

Helping to rehome Tashi and Tenzin meant they are now in their forever homes and we wish them all love and affection in the World.

We wanted to take this opportunity to wish you All a Very Merry Christmas and to Thank You for loving the dogs we have brought into the World over the years.

Enjoy this special time and have a well earned rest 😊

Lovely Tensin and Tashi might soon be in their new homes. Should know by the end of this week. If not I will post again here and get back to a couple of people on fb. Thank you to everyone who came forward to potentially offer help. After discussing things at length with Barb from the RSPCA some homes were ruled out in order to get the fit as suitable as absolutely possible and so we had to focus on communicating with people who fit these criteria. It has been a lot of work to get information about Tashi and Tensin and we did a lot on the phone and email and then we had to see if the first few families were suitable before continuing. Quite a few people have been interviewed but only two so far have been approved given everyone wants these new homes to be their forever homes. The RSPCA only wanted people who did not have young children, given these dogs did not grow up with young children and even though they both seem wonderful, they did not wish the dogs to have to travel too far to their new homes just in case assistance was in the future needed (this was so good of the RSPCA who wanted the absolute best fit for Tashi and Tensin with as few unknowns as possible. There was a criteria for homes which was thought best for both Tensin and Tashi for everyone's best interests which was most responsible :) No chances could or should be taken with homes not working out for the entire lives of each of these beautiful TMs. They deserve to be loved and adored for their rest of their lives by one more family in their lives and hopefully the friends of this family but this family be the next and enduring one :)

If you are a good home who has the time and love to give a dog please contact us. I bred these two amazing dogs and it is a credit to their late owner and the breed that they are so friendly and loving.

I believe Tashi and Tensin would be able to fit into a new home very well.

We have not had to rehome many of our dogs over the decade + and when we have had to, it has worked out well.

If we bring them back to Tasmania now, there is much less chance of them getting lifelong homes in their own families.

If an owner is found, the we are happy to drive them down to Hobart to be flown to their new homes * due to their size and weight they cannot fly out of Launceston or any other Tasmanian airport.

Not everyone wants to pay $800 per dog for the flight back to the mainland on a dog they have never met. While where they are many people can drive to go and meet them and do so a couple of times to ensure the fit is right. Then simply drive either Tensin or Tashi (or both!!) home with them at no cost.

We are emailing the videos and we are phoning people but if you are interested please contact us as soon as possible as we would like these two dogs to have their own family again.

These are very playful puppies with an excellent temperments, currently being lead & toilet trained :)
These puppies have been brought up in our home, with our children & other animals.

We like to take them to Aged Care facilities, Schools & in public in general.
