It is with deep sadness that we share the news of Jodie Grant’s passing.

Jodie was kind, generous, and truly one of a kind — a remarkable human whose presence brightened the lives of so many. She was a devoted mother, a passionate horsewoman and a cherished friend to many within the CMPC community.

Her legacy will live on through her children and the countless lives she touched during her time with us. Jodie’s absence will be profoundly felt, both within our club and beyond.

As a community, we will be coming together to find meaningful ways to honour Jodie’s memory. We welcome your ideas and contributions as we reflect on how best to celebrate her life.

Following our recent AGM, we’re excited to introduce the committee members who will be behind the reins for our club for the 2025 - 2026 season!

A huge thank you to everyone who has stepped up to volunteer their time and energy — this wonderful team is committed to creating a fun, safe, and supportive environment for all our riders, ponies, and families. We can’t wait for another great year of learning, friendship, and pony adventures!

A huge thank you to Pony Club Victoria for sharing our fundraiser in their newsletter, and to the various equestrian groups that have approved our posts, helping spread the word about supporting a family in need.

We’re also incredibly grateful to the local Pony Clubs who have generously donated—Leighdale Pony Club and Ballan Pony Club Inc., your kindness has not gone unnoticed!

An extra heartfelt thank you to the friends, families, and strangers who have shared our posts to help us reach our goal. Please keep sharing—let’s maximise donations as much as we can before April 1.

Our hope is that, in early April, Jodie and her family will have the chance to take a much-needed break together while she is well enough to do so.

The support raised will go toward making this precious times together possible, while also easing the financial burden that these circumstances bring. No mother should have to choose between making ends meet and creating special memories with her children—especially when these may be her last ones.

We are reaching out on behalf of our club with an urgent request.

Our beloved DC is courageously battling terminal cancer while raising her three young children (aged 13-8).

Sadly, her condition is deteriorating, and we are rallying behind her to raise funds so they can spend precious time creating lasting memories while she is still well enough.
