I'm excited to share a significant update with you all! After returning to full-time studies last year (while enjoying seeing all your wonderful dogs), I'm proud to announce that I've completed my Masters of Professional Psychology 🎓📚 I've since joined a fantastic child and adolescent psychology clinic here in Geelong.
What does this mean for Fetching Behaviour? I will be pausing my dog training consultations for the time being. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has trusted me with their beloved dogs. Working with you and your amazing dogs has been an absolute joy, and I remain passionate about kind, evidence-based, and effective training methods.
My philosophy has always been that training should be enjoyable for both human and dog – after all, what's the point of learning if everyone isn't having fun? I believe that the foundation of animal training should be based on mutual trust and friendship- something that I know all of you are also aligned with.
While I won't be taking new clients, I'll maintain this page and occasionally share training information and videos featuring my own animals (and the many pictures I took during the year and didn't get around to posting). There may be a time in the future when I resume consultations, but for now, I'm cherishing my free time with my own pets.
