Lara Dog Training Our aim is to educate owners and their dogs so as to ensure a friendly, sociable and well-mannered family pet, which is welcome in the community.

Hi my name is Deb, a dog and owner educator with 25 years experience 🙂

*Weekly group obedience classes.

*One-on-one sessions for more difficult behaviours.

*In home puppy set-up classes. Dogs are taught correct behaviours and boundaries, so that they learn how to read social cues from other dogs and to respond in an appropriate way, and owners are educated on how to best handle their dogs in all situations. Classes are fun and hands on, come along and try one! :-)

Seeking an excellent home for Daisy

I have an older client with a 2yo black Labrador (desexed F) named Daisy.

Due to some mobility issues, Daisy's owner is not able to give her the exercise and stimulation she needs and is very sadly looking to find this lovely girl a new home.

Daisy has a couple of quirks, which I'd be happy to discuss with genuinely interested parties.

Best suited to a home where she will receive consistent, assertive leadership.

What a cute little sweetheart Pandora is ❤️

Pandora is an 8wo Border Collie puppy, just welcomed into her new home.

She learned some basic obedience, incorporating body language and hand signals, and her human mummy gained valuable information on raising a puppy.

PAPP (fox bait poison) has been located around the Barwon Heads Bluff area in the last couple of weeks. Extreme caution should be used when walking dogs in the area. 🐾

⚠️ Baits are highly toxic if ingested
⚠️ Can be moved by wildlife
⚠️ Areas are usually signposted, but pets can still find them

Fred was one of the lucky ones—after going for a walk in the area, he collapsed and was rushed to our emergency team. Thankfully, the antidote was administered in time, and after responding quickly, Fred is back home and recovering well

👉 If you suspect your pet has ingested a bait or is showing unusual symptoms, seek veterinary attention immediately. Early intervention can save lives
