Roman showing what a total cool dude he is. I’m totally convinced some horses just know, when little people are around, they need to be super careful and extra gentle. Just love this. Not quite a week in his new home and it’s like he’s been there for years! I could not be more thrilled at the wonderful new home Roman has and deserves. 💖

The lovely Roman has found a wonderful new home and his new partner in crime! They’ve totally hit it off and Roman has settled beautifully. Wow, that trot Roman, I knew you had it in you! So happy to know he’s going to be loved and pampered. Couldn’t have wished for a nicer home for him! 🥰

This was my first ride on Roman Turbo. He started life out in Ireland and raced as a two year old before being shipped to Hong Kong to continue his racing career from 2020-2024. In total he won $4.8m Hong Kong dollars from 32 starts. He came to Australia to race but his Australian trainer determined he’d done enough and it was time for him to retire. He came to me not really quite sure who or what he was so he just spent 3 months in the paddock remembering to be a horse. After a few attempts at bringing him in he finally said he was ready. He is such a sweet soul way more whoa than go and at the minute like riding a baby. But he has such a lovely temperament and attitude I just know he will come on in leaps and bounds. Welcome, Roman, to your life Beyond Racing! 💖

Couldn’t be more thrilled! Today, their second HT event only, Elvis and Alana placed 4th (L4) out of 23 combinations at Baccus Marsh PCHT! Whoop, whoop! 78% for Dressage, clear showjumping, clear and in time on the XC! To say we are so proud would be an understatement. Alana and Elvis clicked the moment they got together. But, as we all know, the journey with our horses is never straight forward. Alana has shown such maturity beyond her young years. She has been patient, nurturing, kind and tolerant being careful to build her relationship and trust with Elvis before asking too much. She has always put him first. Her relationship with Elvis is special and we cannot be more excited to watch them grow and blossom together. Alana and the Dude! 💖

Not quite yet 4 years old and Lewis’ second time out XC training this time on his own. (The first time only a couple of days earlier with another horse for company.) Understandably a little ‘looky’ to start with but once his mind had settled a bit and was on the job I couldn’t have faulted him. Super happy with my ‘not so’ Feral Errol! 😆

Elvis the Dude has found himself his human dude in Alana & his new human family! From the moment they met they connected & Elvis said “I like this kid!” Two weeks in his new home & he’s settled & enjoying life. Been trail riding & XC training. Life’s good! It was never going to be easy to part with Elvis as he’s such a super, loveable Dude but he’s truly chosen a very special & beautiful new mum & family!!! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for these two. You are a heart horse Elvis & you have a new heart partner in crime! 💕
