Laidley & District Hack & Pony Club Enquiries Wendy Palmer 0413 331 627 We are a small active pony club. Our musters are held once a month on a Saturday from 1pm to 4pm at Laidley Showgrounds.

All riders welcome - beginners to advanced, young to old. We hold our club meetings on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Besides our monthly musters we run up to four open competitions a year gymkhana, sporting and hack/dressage days. For all riders of all ages. Our biggest event of the year is our end of year break up for our members where we all get together and camp out over a weekend and really enjoy ourselves both kids and adults.

Hi everyone,
We’re looking forward to a fun and busy day tomorrow at the Showgrounds with plenty happening for members, visitors and friends of the club. The morning will kick off with our Horse Gear & Apparel Car Boot Sale and Meet & Greet — a great chance to grab a bargain, have a chat and welcome new faces. Cars will be in and parked by approx 10am so they can set up and be ready to rumble for 10:30am and casually finishing up around 11:30-12pm. There will be a sausage sizzle also running.
After lunch, we’ll be saddling up for our first muster of the year, giving members and Come & Try riders a relaxed and enjoyable start to the 2026 Pony Club season. Ideally we will begin set up at approx 11:45 and have everyone saddling horses at 12:30pm. We would appreciate everyone to be organised and mounted for gear check at 12:45pm for a prompt muster start time of 1pm.
Please see the attached map below for parking! If we could please ask for all horses to be kept away from the club house and gear sale area.

PS Don’t forget to bring some cash! Some vendors may not do Bank transfer or Eftpos!!!

A big Congratulations to Laura Stewart and her team of Ponies at PCAQ QLD State dressage and combined training championships. Laura took her 2 ponies away and sure didn’t disappoint!
She not only placed first in the Under 10 dressage championships but also got first in the Under 10 Prelim 1.1 and 50cm Combined training championships on Bordershow Red Velvet!
She also competed Dracmore ffansi Me who placed 5th in the dressage and 6th in the combined training!!!
