Fernances Creek Riding Club has closed its cross country and club facility to outside riders. We are focusing on haflinger breeding and some art related activities. It was an amazing 11 years of hosting coaches, riders and special events and we thank everyone that supported us during that time.

Paul and I truly enjoyed the time that we spent with you. I was just looking at some old photos of Jump in the Vines, Winter Clinic, Spring in the Vines and Twilight Rides. You really were some of the best people that we have ever met and we will miss you and your lovely horses so much.

We will still be out and about at shows and events.

The draw and show information has gone out for the 2026 State NSW Haflinger and Young Stock Show today. Check your email or spam folder if you don't have it. It's going to be a great weekend. Lots of horses, riders, prizes and social activity for the AHBSA. Looking forward to seeing you.

🗓️ AHBSA Haflinger Show at Wollombi: March 2026! 🐴

Mark your 2026 calendars! The Australian Haflinger Breeding and Sports Association is pleased to announce our Young Horse and Sports Show, welcoming haflinger owners to participate in a weekend of fun and competition!

🗓️ DATES: Friday, March 27th & Saturday, March 28th, 2026

📍 Venue: Wollombi Pony Club Grounds

🥳 Event Highlights

Young Horse Focus. Pure bred and part bred show classes dedicated to giving young horses 3 years old and younger valuable ring experience.

Free Class Entry. For competitors whose horse is presented by someone aged 25 years and under.

⛺ Venue & Entries

The Wollombi Pony Club grounds offer excellent amenities, including yards, show and x-country jumps and dressage arena. Camping is available on site and there is a gas BBQ, picnic tables and outdoor entertaining area. Wollombi Pub and Village are within walking distance.

For enquiries send an email to [email protected] or contact our secretary Verity McDonald. A full program will be published in the next couple of weeks. When classes are finalised entry will be via Nominate. Search for the AHBSA Wollombi event from December.
