Forever-together!
# # # 🐾 Why Groomers & Vets Working Together Is So Important 🩺✂️
As groomers, we’re not just here to make your dogs look and smell amazing! Because we see our regular clients frequently, we can sometimes notice **small changes that may otherwise go unnoticed**.
During a groom, we have the opportunity to closely see and feel areas of your dog that you may not regularly check — including their **skin, coat, ears, paws, nails and body**. We may notice things such as a new lump or bump, changes to the skin, redness, irritation, unusual smells, sore areas, parasites or changes in their coat.
We can also get to know your dog’s **normal behaviour and personality**. If a normally happy, relaxed dog suddenly seems uncomfortable, withdrawn, anxious, unusually tired or reacts differently when we touch a particular area, that change can be worth paying attention to.
🐶 **But groomers don’t diagnose — we observe and communicate.** If we notice something unusual, we can let you know and recommend that you have it checked by your vet.
This is why having a good relationship between **your groomer, your vet and you as the owner** is so important. We all have different roles, but by working together, we can help keep your dog happy, healthy and comfortable.
Sometimes, **early observation can make all the difference.** ❤️
Your groomer sees your dog regularly, your vet provides the medical care, and **together we can help give your furry family member the best care possible.** 🐾💕
