What a return! Rampazetto kicked off the prep in style, taking out the win first-up at Kyneton over 1208m yesterday. Carrying a solid 60kg, it was a tough, gutsy effort that showed plenty of class late.

A well-judged ride by Dylan Dunn had him in the perfect spot throughout, and when it mattered most, Rampazetto found another gear to finish over the top.

His Finest Hour puts his opposition to the sword in the Hanging Rock Cup, breaking the track record and at only his 10th career start, he looks a horse with a big future. Very proud to take home our local cup and congratulations to all our wonderful and supporting owners. Excellent to team up with Cian MacRedmond who’s done plenty of work for the stable and deserves the spoils.
