On Wednesday the 17th of April, I was having a nice relaxing ride exercising horses as in the pics below.
Next minute Rubi and I were both on the ground, he had stumbled and I couldn't regather.
Rick was there and asked if I was ok, I said yes as I jumped to my feet pretty quick and made sure the Big Horse was ok.
He was eating grass laying down, so that answered that.
2 days later the pain wasn't improving which meant I was going to miss an event which I enjoy, if it didn't come good quick.
Unfortunately for me it didn't, the bottom pic doesn't do my shoulder justice ot was truly black all over the area. I had fractured it in 5 places around the ball and socket joint.
The doctors had told me 6-9months recovery, I'm reasonably fit with horse riding so I was pretty sure it wouldn't take that long.
I have been religiously on our pemf machine since the afternoon it happened.
After many fracture clinic visits and physio sessions I am proud to say I can resume riding, that was on the 26th of June, 10weeks after the accident.
I haven't been on a horse yet as mine are all thrown out for the season.
I'm itching to get on so look out everyone when I pester you for a ride.
If you have any doubts about PEMF I'm a great example of how very well it works.
Doctors have commented on every visit how well it was healing/mending.
