During our trip to Guangzhou, China, we visited Grandview Aquarium, a huge indoor marine attraction located inside Grandview Mall in the heart of Tianhe.

And this place was much bigger than we expected.

Spanning around 58,000 square metres, Grandview Aquarium is home to thousands of marine animals across themed areas showcasing everything from colourful tropical fish and jellyfish to sharks, stingrays, penguins and beluga whales.

On our latest trip to Guangzhou, China, we had the chance to visit Favourite Aquarium and Pet Ornament Manufacturer, one of the makers behind the rock caves, driftwood replicas, castles, and decorative pieces that bring aquariums to life.

From moulding and painting to the final finishing touches, it was fascinating to see just how much craftsmanship goes into creating the ornaments we often take for granted. Safe to say, we left with a whole new appreciation for what's inside the tank, not just what's swimming in it!

We found an entire street dedicated to aquarium fish! 🤯

Hidden in Ho Chi Minh City's District 5, Lưu Xuân Tín Street (also known as Aquarium Street or the Ornamental Fish Market) is lined with aquarium shops filled with colourful tropical fish, giant arowanas, fancy goldfish, shrimp, aquatic plants and more.

If you're an aquarium enthusiast, this place deserves a spot on your Vietnam itinerary.

While exploring Ho Chi Minh City, we stumbled upon Lưu Xuân Tín Street, better known as Aquarium Street or the Ornamental Fish Market. Hidden away in District 5, this street is lined with aquarium shops showcasing everything from colourful tropical fish and giant arowanas to fancy goldfish, shrimp, aquatic plants and aquascaping supplies.
