Bubbles & Cuddles Dog Grooming Buderim Family Home Based Dog Grooming in Buderim. Lisa and David are located in beautiful Buderim and began their journey into Dog Grooming in July 2021.

We have come from very different backgrounds. I have 30 years experience in Hospital administration and David is an ex clinical Psychologist. We were both on burn out and needed a much needed change. We decided, during one of our many lockdowns due to COVID to complete a diploma in Dog Grooming. This was achieved with an overall mark of 98% and industry trained!!! We both absolutely love and ador

e dogs and we are so blessed to have a career which incorporates our love of animals and being able to make them look beautiful, whilst making your baby comfortable and secure at all times. We groom Shih-tzus, Maltese, Any Cavoodles, groodles, Labradoodles, Spaniels etc
And happy take on Larger dogs for De-Shedding and Clipping. We don't claim to be Show Groomers. If you are wanting a Breed specific groom of highest quality there are some amazing groomers on the Coast! Our most important aim is to make your puppy feel safe. Whilst Grooming them to the best of our ability and of course listening to our clients grooming needs. Our motto is " if they are not comfortable or happy to be groomed then we will do our very best "


Please inform us if your dog has ever had any issues and anxiety with grooming. If your Puppy starts to bite or become aggressive we normally try to place a muzzle around their mouth and sometimes this is not even possible. Our hands are our Lively hood and we will not take any risks! Sometimes due to varying circumstances dogs are just not comfortable or used to being groomed. Sometimes we are unable to complete our work. As OCD as I am, there are times that we just can't complete the work. It becomes dangerous when sc******ng on feet and faces which will not stay still. If this occurs, we are more than happy to complete the groom another day. It's all about comfort. Some Dog's are naturals, whilst others absolutely hate the process. We will do a full health check prior to Grooming. Please let us know if there are any health concerns or lumps and bumps etc. If you unfortunately have to cancel, we ask at least 24 hours notice. But we also understand that this is not always possible! We love to take before and after photos of your dog's and share these to our page. Please let us know if you are not happy for us to do this. But most of all We truly hope that your puppy enjoys their unique experience with "Bubbles & Cuddles" where we always Groom with love and care. And of course there is Always time for a good chat and laugh when you collect them! We are always up for a good debrief or trying to solve some of the world's problems lol
PS yes David does have ADHD and should be on the stage.....

Teddy had a huge de-shed today 👍. His undercoat was ready to be removed and it just kept coming. This is the time of year when all our double-coated dogs shed like crazy. If you are constantly having to vacuum up dog hair or your dog is panting heavily in this heat and constantly scratching, it's time for a really good de-shed to remove the old undercoat. You will not be disappointed.

A Proud Moment for Our Bubbles & Cuddles Family.

While our days are usually filled with wagging tails and fluffy cuddles, today we wanted to share something very special and close to our hearts. 💛

Our very own David has been working tirelessly for the past 8 years on a concept to improve cancer care for Indigenous Australians, ensuring their voices are heard, their stories respected, and that vital information flows through to government and health organisations to help create real change.

Last week, we received the incredible news that David has been selected as one of only six people in the country to present his Concept at Sydney University this December. 🎉

If successful, his concept will be supported and funded — a huge step towards making a meaningful difference in the lives of many during their most difficult times.

We are so proud of his dedication, compassion, and courage to keep going after all these years. 💪🐾
Please join us in wishing him the very best as he prepares for this amazing opportunity.

Today we had the honour of grooming this gentle soul, Harvey. 💕
Harvey is living with a rare blood cancer, and his family asked us to make him feel as comfortable and cared for as possible — not for vanity, but for love and comfort.
Any cut or abrasion could impact him badly.

Every snip today was done with extra gentleness, patience, and heart. He stood so bravely, with those kind eyes and that trademark smile that could melt anyone’s heart. 🐾

At Bubbles & Cuddles, we believe grooming is more than looking good — it’s about feeling good. Especially for dogs like Harvey, who remind us that every moment of care matters.

Sending all our love to this beautiful boy and his family. 💚

We've had an action-packed week at B&C, which included grooming 35 dogs, training 2 year 12 students, rescuing 2 gorgeous Shepherds with the help of our neighbours Lizard Concreting. Handling bookings, including the huge demand for Christmas and of course David's extracurricular activities helping make a difference to so many.
So when I asked for this week's photos from David and received them as Lego illustrations I wasn't surprised at all.

Our clients and dogs come with many stories.
Some happy and some so very sad 😢
Little Frankie has just lost her human Mum.
She is 3 years old and I can't even imagine how she is coping with the loss.
We were asked to groom her today as she was definitely in need of a good clip.
When adopted Mum left, Frankie had already made it quite clear she was not being touched and definitely not wanting to be groomed.
Within 30 minutes little Frankie was feeling comfortable, loved and heard.
Sometimes a dog reacts for a reason!
With understanding and training(thankyou David)
this little girl was groomed and feeling amazing.
Understanding and patience is all it takes x
