Place training is an important skill for your pups to learn. It teaches them to settle calmly in a designated spot, helping to build impulse control, focus, and confidence.

We finished off the session with some yummy enrichment activities, which are a fantastic way to stimulate your pup’s mind and encourage natural behaviours such as sniffing, licking, and problem-solving.

These cuties graduated from our April Puppy Preschool program ! 🐾🎓

Our pups and paw-parents learned lots of new skills, training techniques and confidence building exercises, giving them an amazing start to their training journey and helping build strong bonds for life. 💛

We are so proud of every single puppy and can’t wait to watch them continue to grow! 🐶✨

It was all paws on deck this week as our pups mastered ‘step up’, ‘middle’ and ‘leave it’ with plenty of fun enrichment games to challenge their brains and burn off that puppy energy!

Wow, what a beautiful variety of puppies we had in our February/March Puppy Preschool class! 🐾

Over the course of the program, we explored a range of techniques and training strategies, celebrating plenty of wins along the way, and learning from a few challenges too!

The pups worked on their basic commands, leash walking, middles, tunnel fun, step-ups and more, building confidence and skills each week.

We also focused on socialisation and had lots of fun introducing different enrichment food activities to keep those busy minds engaged.

So proud of all our pups and their paw parents for their progress! 🐶💛

We focused on place training today, teaching the puppies to go to a specific spot (like a mat or bed) and stay there until released.

This encourages calm behaviour and relaxation, giving them a clear job when things are busy (visitors, dinner time, kids playing)

We finished of the lesson with some enrichment activities. They provides mental stimulation by allowing dogs to use their natural instincts like sniffing, problem-solving, chewing, and foraging.

Helps prevents boredom and destructive behaviour and can reduce stress and anxiety.
