HELP!!

Our little mate Fergs is in a pickle! His family have found themselves in a bit of an accommodation bind during a move down to Albany 😭

So we’re on the hunt for a doggo sitter for a few months, as Fergs doesn’t want to go to a kennel. Prefer him to stay around Albany so he can still hang out with his family… but will look at other options too :)

Fergs is desexed, a year old and aside from being a 1yo staffy, he’s a pretty good boy ☺️

This is Bulma, she could possibly be the best looking dog in the world. Anyway… sadly our little girl is 👀 for a new 🛋️ to potato on, a new yard to do bulk zoomies in and a new human to stare at while they p*e.

Bulma is 3 and has all the usual trainings squared away. She’s also really really ridiculously good looking.

So if you’re looking for a cute, hairy stalker who will vacuum up crumbs off your kitchen floor and fart directly on your leg with ZERO remorse, get in touch 🙌

What a special girl 🥰

We got asked to help out with a little Groodle who had a pretty rough start this morning. She was cold and weak and in the early stages of hypoglycaemia so we had to work quickly to keep her going.

After half hourly tube feeding all morning she’s now strong enough to suckle on her own and our darling little Pixie Bell has been kind enough to lend a hand!

She truly is the goodest girl 💕

✨✨ Little Mate Update ✨✨

Things are looking good for my little buddy, Irish 😍

After a super informative consult with the Dermatology team at Waves it looks like we are on top of it 🤗🤗

The verdict is that young Irish and his brother Doug do indeed have some food allergies that we’re likely kicked off by an immune response to his va((nations 😬

Irish has had a solid course of antibiotics to clear up a resistant skin infection and is currently coming off his course of steroids and seems to be doing very well! No itching so far 🤞 It’s been soooooo nice to see him more comfortable finally!

We have designed him a healthy, accessible and affordable grain free and Kangaroo only (for the moment) diet and my little buddy is thriving on it 😍

So now here comes the sad part… 😭

It’s time for Irish to find his perfect forever home with some awesome humans who are understanding of his dietary requirements and immune to his charm. He’s pretty good at convincing you that he CAN have some roast chicken, because he’s bloody adorable. But he’s lying. He definitely can’t have that. No roast chicken for Irish.

Stuff to know about Irish 👇

✨ He’s super social and playful, so he’d do best with another dog or someone who’s home a lot.

😎 He LOVES car rides. Preferably the ones where he can rest his head on the centre console and demand pats on his little velvet moosh.

😩 He is crate trained. But he thinks it’s the pits and would rather be with you.

😆 He knows better than to bother you when you’re in the kitchen.

😂 His recall is awesome, but because he’s a farm dog… he could use some work on the lead.

😑 Irish is not the kind of dude that’s going to thrive as an only dog that’s left alone a lot. He’s too social and energetic for that life.

😜 He loves a cuddle, he loves a good zoomie and he loves his roo tail bones.

🥰 Irish is an all round awesome little dude with plenty of energy and a huge willingness to please.

Im going to miss this little bloke immensely.

Let’s talk about itchy doggos 🫤

This is Irish,

Irish is nearly 8 months old and still hasn’t moved out of home… why? Well… young Irish and his brother Douglas had what we believe to be a pretty serious reaction to flea treatments.

Now, usually I don’t flea treat my dogs because they don’t have fleas. But when feral cats and kangaroos drop a flea plague in your back yard… you’ve gotta do what you’ve gotta do.

We’ve spent the best part of 5 months treating these boys for “allergies” with no success. We tried antihistamines, antibiotics to clear skin infections, cytopoint injections, steroids… the works. We’ve worked closely with our amazing vets and we’ve gotten nowhere… blood tests have shown up no allergies yet these two boys are still itchy.

I don’t have any dogs with allergies or sensitivities and I won’t breed from any that do. So what gives?

These two beautiful little boys had their second shots and a flea treatment and all of a sudden became allergic to themselves 😭

Now, I’m not going to tell you not to va((inate or flea treat your doggos… But I am going to recommend you do your due diligence.

Your dogs don’t need a monthly flea treatment unless they actually have fleas. You’re just pouring chemicals on your pupper and money down the drain.
