There has been this cute little possum sleeping on my patio roof the past few days. It is adorable, I have been wondering why it keeps coming back to the same spot, and I am starting to believe it's the witty banter that fills our house- the boys and I are rather entertaining, can't blame it for wanting to hear the next instalment of 'Can We Find The Perfect Socks To Wear Today?' Will they be in the draw? Maybe the wash? Or even more intriguing - will the perfect sock be a pair or flying solo?
Regardless of our ongoing sock drama, our new little visitor does pose somewhat of a threat to our beautiful Sadie girl. There is a big chance Little Possum has fleas, and quite possibly ticks as well- possums are immune to the tick toxin, and ticks can happily live on possums, and interestingly bandicoots, without causing any drama (If you live in an area where possums [or bandicoots] like to hang out make sure you're checking your pet regularly).
