Thought you would all appreciate this...

This is my boy Bert, who we lost Easter Monday 2016 at the age of 4 to the horrible C-word.

He played a vital part in my business, helping other dogs build their confidence (and people) he was my wing man, my reason for becoming Loose Lead Pets.

I miss him sooo much. What better way to be able to see him every day than in my rear vision mirror!

Such a beautiful boy don't you think?

On this day in 2012, Bert came into our lives as an exuberant foster dog. He was 9 months old!

Look at how beautiful he is!

After 3 months of becoming super attached to this goofball, he was mine to keep. When he first arrived He would have me pushed up against the wall at the front door, jump all over the furniture, think he was big enough to use Allys Doggy door and would p*e all over me and anyone else with excitement, all very much unwanted behaviors...

I don't think you'd remember him to be like that... It's never too late to start training.

Sit has to be one of the most important things to teach your dog. If he was sitting, he wasn't jumping on me. How many of you remember Bert as a jumper? Or do you remember him as the dog that sat on your foot for pats.

Either way he was and still is beautiful and as handsome as ever. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him.
