First call out for the season today was a job for Reptile Rescue, to what the client mistook for a snake, was actually this little blue tongue 🦎 👍he was a bit thirsty, so I gave him a drink and then released him in a safe place.

A job for Reptile Rescue today, an unlikely rescue in winter, at the Kings Meadows connector link where road works are happening. This Copperhead was about 3ft and healthy. After a decent wash and de-ticking, I released him into a much more appropriate spot. 👍🐍

Unlikely to have a snake call out this close to winter, but I was called down to the midlands today to rescue this Copperhead Snake which was very much tangled up in bird netting. It was definitely a tedious job to cut him free, but thankfully he had no major wounds, and has been safely released. This was a job for Reptile Rescue. 👍🐍😊
