Quick update. MELS eye ulcer has healed enough she can drive and see clearly with no compromise or safety concerns. So happy! We have rescheduled those who we felt were unable to be cancelled with the one day we had left, friday. Unfortunately Mel is fully booked and unless a Tsunami or wall of fire hits the hills this week, nothing is changing. Micro blue moon do your thing and allow for good weather, good health and great coats and smiles.

We are once again on weather watch. Please be on standby for closures. We are expecting up to 70mm alone on Thursday. I, unfortunately struggled at work yesterday with an eye ulcer and as you can imagine, driving and sc******ng became a safety concern. We are closed today as My nan also passed away. Its just been a terrible few days of pain and grief & I will have to take some time off to heal and recover. If you can cancel this week, I appreciate it. Im fully booked an it breaks my heart playing catch up and I know your coats are in great condition because your all so loyal and regular. But please let me know if your desperate. I will find an alternative if I can. Much love ❤️

✨ A little personal update from PLUSH PAWS ✨

I just wanted to let my clients know that my beautiful Nan, Collinette “Kate” West, is nearing the end of her journey and I may be suddenly pulled away from work over the coming days.

I’m truly sorry if this impacts appointments or communication. It’s been quite a rough start to 2026 with injury, mechanical issues, COVID, and now a painful corneal ulcer thrown in for good measure as I navigate a loss I wasn't expecting. Family comes first and I appreciate your patience and understanding while I navigate this time.

Thank you to everyone who has shown kindness and grace lately ❤️ It genuinely means more than you know.

Congratulations of PLUSH PAWS DOG WASH who loves to run Ultras in his spare time. He completed his 10th 100km in the Blue Mountains last weekend. Mel works as on course medic and was lucky enough to have a shift at the same time Anthony came into the finish chute. Teamwork makes the dream work.

🤎COCO🤎 the Cavoodle.
King Charles Cavalier Spaniel x Toy Poodle

She has been with us for about 37weeks and was 7mths old when we met her.
She has gone through an amazing transformation as she grew from a deep red coat to an almost complete light apricot/ tan colour.

The main culprit here which many cavoolde owner are now aware of, is the genetics from the Poodle fading gene. This gene, also known as the “dilute” gene, can gradually cause a dark coat to lighten over time.

So, if your Cavoodle has inherited this gene from their poodle parent, you might notice their coat changing shades as they age. But don’t worry, this is entirely normal.
