Our pickers have left the area for few days until the fire danger clears so they had some spare time on their hands and put this little reel together for us.

Season is of to a slow start due to the cold start to summer but we got there.

Picked yesterday by our amazing pickers.

They picked in the tremendous heat and the glow and smell of fire in the air, not for the faint hearted.

Left the farm little sooner than we'd like under advice from Vic emergency so offering both fresh and frozen berries this weekend.

So far our location is fortunately not on the radar of the Queensland fruit fly as yet.

The federal pesticide authority has updated how the chemical dimethoate can be used on berries after new data confirmed skyrocketing consumption has been putting young children over the safety limit.
