As we have had a large amount of rain overnight and are expecting more rain today, unfortunately most of our staff are unable to make it to work today. ☔️

🦅🦅Last month we rescued a Wedge-tailed eagle after a member of the public called and said there was an eagle in a paddock that looked unwell and was struggling to fly. 2 of our wonderful nurses Alesha and Beth went out and rescued it and bought it back to the clinic for assessment and treatment. 🦅🦅
Dr. Stephen diagnosed rat bait toxicity so we started treatment right away. 💉🏥
After almost a week of receiving treatment, Alesha transferred the eagle to a wonderful wildlife carer. 🌳🪾
Since then the eagle has been with the carer and has now been released. 🦅

We have had stray brought into the clinic, found Nanango area.
Male; entire; French Bulldog; Fawn with white patch on back of neck; 4 years old. Has a microchip but still registered in breeders name.

We have seen an alarming amount of Paralysis Tick cases lately so we are urging all pet owners to make sure their pets are up to date with tick prevention.

Tick paralysis can be fatal and very expensive to treat but it is completely preventable!

If you need help choosing an appropriate preventative please contact us.

Black and tan male neutered dachshund, brought into us this morning. Unfortunately no microchip, if he is yours give us a call on 41625511. He's a very sweet boy and we'd love to get him home!
