❗ Bud’s Cuts Policies & Procedures ❗️
Please read the following details BEFORE bringing your dog to their grooming appointment. Conditions outlined apply to ALL Bud’s Cuts customers.
🐾 Dropping off your dog 🐾
Please park in the driveway. Do not park on the foot path or road.
Please toilet your dog BEFORE you come to the door (a long walk is best).
When you arrive, text 0450 187 776 and I will meet you out the front. Please refrain from ringing the doorbell.
If you are running late to your appointment, you must let me know via text or phone call. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be cancelled and a cancellation fee charged (see cancellations & no shows section below). Please note, a Facebook message may not count as sufficient notice as I am not able to monitor the page all day.
An estimation of how long the groom will take will be given at drop off. You will also be sent a text message with a pick-up time approx. 30 minutes before the groom is complete. If you need more notice, please let me know at drop off.
🐾 During the groom 🐾
If your dog is found to have ANY evidence of fleas, an additional charge will be incurred to cover the cost of cleaning and disinfecting the salon. It is recommended your dog is treated monthly with a flea preventative to avoid infestations.
If your dog has a matted coat, they may need to be clipped short and will incur an additional charge based on severity and additional time taken. Bud’s Cuts is not liable for existing skin conditions or parasites (such as fleas, hot spots and skin infections) that may be exposed by clipping and de-matting of your dog.
Price may change at any time depending on size, coat condition and behaviour of your dog. Quotes provided are estimates only.
Due to safety & privacy reasons, owners are not allowed to stay during their dog’s appointment.
🐾 Picking up your dog 🐾
Please arrive on time, not early to pick up your dog. Text 0450 187 776 when you arrive and I will bring your dog out when the groom is complete.
Payment for your appointment can be made by cash or Square (credit/debit card). NO BANK TRANSFERS. Payment MUST be made on the day of your appointment. Payments made via Square will incur a 1.9% surcharge.
Due to council regulations, I am unable to hold dogs longer than the appointment time. Late pick-ups will incur a fee of $20/first 15 minutes, then $1/minute after that. This fee must be paid when you pick up your dog (card payment available).
🐾 Cancellations & no shows 🐾
Late notice cancellations and no shows WILL NOT be tolerated. A phone call or text (0450 187 776) must be made if you are unable to make it to your appointment.
An automated reminder message is sent 4 days prior to your appointment. DO NOT reply to this message as I cannot see your reply.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice, will result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the groom price. No shows and cancellations made within 12 hours of the appointment, will result in a cancellation fee of 100% of the groom price. This fee will be added to the cost of the next groom. Repeat offenders may not be offered further appointments at Bud’s Cuts.
