Where are you located?
Bud’s Cuts is a small home-based grooming salon in Seville Grove, WA.

What are your opening hours?
Monday - 8:30am-3:30pm
Tuesday - 8:30am-4:30pm
Wednesday - 8:30am-12:30pm
Friday - 8:30am-4:30pm
Saturday - 8:30am-12:30pm
Please note, calls and messages won’t be answered outside of these hours.

Do you groom big dogs?
Yes, I groom well behaved big dogs.

How much will my dogs groom cost?
Each dog is quoted individually. The cost of your dog groom will vary based on a number of factors including coat condition (matting, fleas etc.), style of groom, size and behaviour of your dog. A rough estimate will be given at drop off.

Can you provide a discount?
No, Bud’s Cuts does not provide any discounts.

How can I pay for my appointment?
Your appointment can be paid via cash or Square (debit/credit card) and must be paid on the day. Payments made via Square will incur a 1.9% surcharge.

What happens if I am unable to make my appointment?
In the event you are unable to make it to your appointment, we ask that you let us know with as much notice as possible so that we are able to fill the time slot. Please see the link above for more on our cancellation policy.

Are you taking new customers?
Unfortunately, Bud’s Cuts is not taking new customers at the moment as my client list is full. Should the time come for me to start taking on new customers, I will make an announcement via our page.

❗ Bud’s Cuts Policies & Procedures ❗️

Please read the following details BEFORE bringing your dog to their grooming appointment. Conditions outlined apply to ALL Bud’s Cuts customers.

🐾 Dropping off your dog 🐾
Please park in the driveway. Do not park on the foot path or road.
Please toilet your dog BEFORE you come to the door (a long walk is best).
When you arrive, text 0450 187 776 and I will meet you out the front. Please refrain from ringing the doorbell.
If you are running late to your appointment, you must let me know via text or phone call. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be cancelled and a cancellation fee charged (see cancellations & no shows section below). Please note, a Facebook message may not count as sufficient notice as I am not able to monitor the page all day.
An estimation of how long the groom will take will be given at drop off. You will also be sent a text message with a pick-up time approx. 30 minutes before the groom is complete. If you need more notice, please let me know at drop off.

🐾 During the groom 🐾
If your dog is found to have ANY evidence of fleas, an additional charge will be incurred to cover the cost of cleaning and disinfecting the salon. It is recommended your dog is treated monthly with a flea preventative to avoid infestations.
If your dog has a matted coat, they may need to be clipped short and will incur an additional charge based on severity and additional time taken. Bud’s Cuts is not liable for existing skin conditions or parasites (such as fleas, hot spots and skin infections) that may be exposed by clipping and de-matting of your dog.
Price may change at any time depending on size, coat condition and behaviour of your dog. Quotes provided are estimates only.
Due to safety & privacy reasons, owners are not allowed to stay during their dog’s appointment.

🐾 Picking up your dog 🐾
Please arrive on time, not early to pick up your dog. Text 0450 187 776 when you arrive and I will bring your dog out when the groom is complete.
Payment for your appointment can be made by cash or Square (credit/debit card). NO BANK TRANSFERS. Payment MUST be made on the day of your appointment. Payments made via Square will incur a 1.9% surcharge.
Due to council regulations, I am unable to hold dogs longer than the appointment time. Late pick-ups will incur a fee of $20/first 15 minutes, then $1/minute after that. This fee must be paid when you pick up your dog (card payment available).

🐾 Cancellations & no shows 🐾
Late notice cancellations and no shows WILL NOT be tolerated. A phone call or text (0450 187 776) must be made if you are unable to make it to your appointment.
An automated reminder message is sent 4 days prior to your appointment. DO NOT reply to this message as I cannot see your reply.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice, will result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the groom price. No shows and cancellations made within 12 hours of the appointment, will result in a cancellation fee of 100% of the groom price. This fee will be added to the cost of the next groom. Repeat offenders may not be offered further appointments at Bud’s Cuts.

Lockdown is lifting this evening so the salon will be reopening tomorrow! 🥳

There will be a QR code for you to scan when you arrive and please ensure you are wearing a mask (even if you’re staying in the car). If you aren’t wearing a mask, you will be asked to leave. Let’s all do our part to keep WA safe!

WA LOCKDOWN UPDATE

As you may have heard, Perth will be in lockdown as of 6pm this evening. During this time, the salon will be CLOSED as I am not permitted to have any visitors at the house (including contactless drop offs and pick ups). Those who have appointments booked this week will be rescheduled and I will be in contact with you soon.

Please stay safe and be responsible during this lockdown period.

A very special thank you to those who were able to donate to GOSAC this Christmas!! As well as the boot load of items collected, $50 was raised from Bud’s Christmas raffle which I have matched to make it $100. This money will be used to buy much needed items for the abundance of kittens in rescues this Christmas 💕

Karyn from Bud’s Cuts decided to help the strays this year. She organised a raffle and collected donations which she dropped off to me today.
Thank you SO much to all Bud’s Cuts customers and to Karyn for helping out.
I will shortly post what I actually did with the money as it came just at the right time to help many kittens in need!!

Massive thank you to Gregg and the team at Red Earth Energy for a stellar job on our new solar panel system!! Excellent customer service with honest advice and full transparency throughout the entire process. To top it all off, they’re based locally! 👏🏻

If you’ve been contemplating solar for your home, do it and support local in the process! I wish I had done it 3 years ago!! Honestly couldn’t recommend Red Earth Energy enough. Thanks again guys! ☀️

PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOG!

The last thing I want when I’m enjoying a nice arvo gardening is to put my fingers through a pile of dog 💩

I understand that when you gotta go, you gotta go but be responsible and clean up your dog’s mess. If you need a bag, just ask me. After all, you wouldn’t use someone’s toilet and not flush, would you?
