Based in the beautiful Blue Mountains, servicing the BM and surrounds. I pride myself on working with any dog issues, including reactivity, leash manners, anxiety, fence barking, jumping, puppy prep and even dog or human aggression. I work with all breeds big and small, and treat all dogs (and owners!) I meet with kindness and compassion. I work with you and your dog to create a beautiful leadersh

ip based relationship to bring out the best in your dog! We'll get to the root cause of the issue and breakdown how we got here and how to move forward. My aim is to keep dogs in their homes and out of shelters through understanding and education. Are you struggling with your dog? Give me a call or shoot through a message to work out a specialised plan for you and your dog, with unlimited support whenever needed. Are you a foster family or rescue? I offer free sessions to aid shelters or foster families with difficult dogs.

Hello All!

Just letting anyone know that has made enquiries in the last month that I am taking a small hiatus from dog training due to growing a little human!

I'll still be finishing up with my current clients, but unfortunately won't be taking on anyone new until the new year!

If I haven't managed to get back in touch I sincerely apologise! Between working two jobs, and training my own I've been very slack with getting back in touch with people.

Have a photo of one of the shelter dogs I have had the pleasure of working with for the Facebook tax!

Everyone meet Lexie!

Lex is a beautiful Lil staffy x with a whole lot of personality. Her owners reached out due to having issues with Lex exploding on walks whenever she sees a dog. Meaning they are scared to take her anywhere. She may be small, but she's a powerhouse of a dog.
So far we've only done a lil consult with some light training, mostly focusing on just walking calmly and following mum and dad.
I'll be seeing Lexie again soon to work on her main issue: leash reactivity. Stay tuned for some more life changing work for this girl!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of working with some absolutely amazing dogs, and their awesome people!
I was lucky enough to be able to see Willa again. Willa is a beautiful large mixed breed dog who has all of the dorkiness and exuberance I'm so used to seeing in Bull Arabs. She was adopted from a local rescue and due to the fact she had ringworm, and therefore had to be isolated, she lacked a lot of basic skills when I first met her.
She was mouthing when excited and taking it way too far, drawing blood on multiple occasions (not out of malace, just with her strenght and puppy teeth combined) As well as jumping all over anyone she met, not cute when it comes to a dog with this much lean muscle behind them.
Since I last saw Willa her owner has made incredible progress. Willa is still only 9mths old, so she's still making mistakes and testing the limits. However, her mouthiness has drastically reduced, and she's starting to understand what's acceptable. Props to Willa's owners for sticking with it and helping her be the best version of herself she can be

What we've been up to!
I'm not great at making content. I prefer just to work with dogs and help them, The socials aspect of that just isn't my thing.
In saying that I will make more of an effort to post what we're doing.
Thanks for the support from everyone and the awesome dogs I've been able to work with over the last month or two

Just a quick lil snippet of our mornings.
Training should be boring guys; it should be repetitive.
The key is making sure the dog has fun. Notice Kali has great body language and is engaged the whole time. Yes, I'm using food, that's her brekky ๐Ÿ˜‚ I'd still expect the same behaviour without food but having her earn her breakfast slowly builds her food drive and makes training more fun.
At the end of this we have a quick game of tug and then relaxing time. The end goal of tug is so much more satisfying than any food for her.

Hello everyone, just want to let everyone know I'm going to take a break from new clients for the next 2-3 weeks.
I've managed to tear a muscle in my back that is severely restricting my movements. In the interest of giving my all to everyone I work with I'll have to postpone any new bookings. If you have a booking in the next two weeks you should have received a message about rescheduling.
Thanks all and as always I'm happy to help over the phone or messenger โค๏ธ

Happy international dog day from my fam to yours ๐Ÿ‘
What did you guys get up to with your dogs today?
Thor an I had an amazing half play, half training session (that I'm currently editing, video will be up tomorrow) and then cuddles on the couch with all the dogs โค๏ธ

Meet Lollypop!
Today I had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful girl, Lolli!
Lolli is a Koolie X Border Collie and, like most working dogs, she is incredibly smart and very attentive.
At only four months old she's making massive progress with her obedience training thanks to a very motivated mum!
Today we talked about how to correctly socialise her and what to do when she's being a lil cheeky. We covered the basics of thresholds and building her confidence.
Thankfully Lolli's mum is someone I absolutely adore, so I'll be seeing more of her soon! Stay tuned for more of this absolute bag of cuteness!

This is why it's so important to keep on top of your dogs nails!
Thor had his first big run yesterday after being on strict reduced exercise for the last two and a half months. I didn't even think about checking his nails (I know, I already feel terrible enough)
He decided to do a huge jump off a hill and must've landed awkwardly.
He came limping back over with blood POURING out of his toe.
He's managed to snap the top half of one of his nails off, exposing the quick and causing him a lot of pain.
Another vet visit for my dude (thankfully he loves my vet and they love him!) And another week or two of rest.
Although this is an incredibly common injury for dogs, the likelihood of this happening to your pooch can be diminished by keeping their nails trimmed and well looked after. A dremel is an amazing tool that can take a lot of stress away from nail clipping for both you and your dog, with a lot less risk of accidently nicking the quick.
The only funny thing about this is Moon is now walking around with a fake limp, I'm calling it sympathy
