I love bobtails, incredible durability remarkable adaptability and so very cute.
Always have been my favourite reptile.
This will wind up the breeding season for the year.

We have Stimsons and Carpet pythons, frill neck lizards and oblong turtle hatchlings.
Plus then there’s next year if you miss out this year.

South West Carpet Python 2025 Holdbacks.
I have quickly Photographed 3 of the 4 holdbacks from my favourite clutch from the 2025 season. #4 is in slough and I will post photos of it once freshly shed , I actually think it’s amazing and quite different.
These will now all be staying here for future breeding.

South west Carpet Python female hatching out her eggs at around 60 days since laying.
This female is a very chill snake and hasn’t been too worried about me disturbing her through the incubating process. It appears it’s a 100% success rate again. These snakes have deep colour with some vibrant gold spotting on the underside, they rarely grow out beyond 2mtrs if not overfed. Usually the hatchlings are chill as , very easy to get feeding and remain that way.
An awesome addition to a reptile collection and definitely a beginners snake.

Here we go again
I had a great time with all the crew who showed up last year , very well organised event.
If anyone is interested in reptiles then this is the weekend to make a trip to Carbanup and get amongst the incredible wealth of knowledge, check out the critters and have a really good time. Thanks Kim and Bec from discover deadly for hosting again in 2024. Great Southern Reptiles is excited to display and sell reptiles on the day.
