Unfortunately a beloved client needs to rehome this sweet girl 💓 she is such a loving and sweet dog. I will include owners write up below please message me if interested or able to help.

Bella is a sweet old gal who has complex needs, but in a home that is the right fit she really thrives and is the easiest dog to have around. She is happy to just sleep at your feet all day and have a throw of a toy and share bites of dinner off your plate in the evening. Not jumpy, not licky, not needy. Very sweet and loving “always nearby but not in your face” dog.
I am VERY VERY SADLY looking to rehome as she has shown aggression and reactivity towards my 1.5 year old son, that unfortunately has not been able to be managed with medication, training, or separation.
She’s been spending her days outdoors and nights indoors but is not coping being away from her humans all day.
Not positive a rehome will work as she is quite bonded to me but happy to work with the person to help her adjust.
Happy to cover her current medication costs.
Medical conditions:
Hip dysplasia
Arthritis
Immune Mediated Thrombocytopenia (currently in remission)
Incontinence (currently managed with medication)
Skin condition (managed with monthly antibacterial groom and apoquel if it flares up)
Medication:
Meloxicam nightly
Gabapentin twice daily
Tramadol Twice Daily
Stilboestral once weekly
Needs:
Only pet home
Secure dig proof yard
To be indoor dog
Someone home more often than not
No kids under 3
Walks need to be muzzled and on leash away from other dogs
Has separation anxiety and will howl and cry if left home alone
Bella has a bite history with other dogs and has a high prey drive for small animals and livestock. Separation from all other animals needs to be taken very seriously.
