Got out for a Hunt chasing Rutting Red Stags with my wife Tracey. Was Tracey’s turn to shoot this year and we managed to get onto a monster 6x7 with an extra point on top of that, growing out of the pedical. Managed to call the stag in to 30 yards with hind calls. Was some exhilarating moments as it all unfolded. One well placed shot and Tracey had the trophy of a lifetime secured!

Hi all, It’s always busy at Down Under Taxidermy.
Have a look at some more of our recent mounts. As the rut is starting to kick of trophies are starting to roll in.

Hi everyone. Been a bit slack in posting lately. We are very busy here.
Lots has happened at Down Under Taxidermy. We have grown with some new team members joining our ranks.
Here are some of the mounts of recent times. Lots more to post so look out for them.
The rut is upon us very soon, with some roars being heard around the ridges, so Red and fallow heads will be coming in soon.
For a professional mount don’t hesitate in contacting us. We guarantee our workmanship. Our wait time is about 9 to 12 months still but we are trying hard to pull that back to a quicker turnaround.
Go to our website for a full instruction on how to cape out a red deer for taxidermy. Can be used for any game animal.
