It’s April! When did that happen?

Easter and Anzac Day both fall within the same week this year. Please see below for my closures April:
Closed:
Good Friday April 18th
Easter Saturday April 19th
Anzac Day Friday April 25th.
Let’s hope we get some nice weather for the Easter break🐰🐰
Maddie and Nuggie are clearly looking forward to their break🤣.

Storm Closure!

Phone Calls will be made this afternoon for rebooking.

MutzCutz will be closed Thursday and Friday for Alfred.

Rather than have everybody laying in wait it’s safer now I prepare and hunker down.
The odds are the salon will Flood at some point and I’d like to get things moved and safe tonight.

Please stay off the roads if you can a reach out if you need assistance.
Stay safe and don’t Panic but be prepared hopefully it all fizzles out upon landfall❤️.

MutzCutz will be open as usual tomorrow and I suspect Thursday morning aswell pending rainfall.
Possible that closure might take place for Thursday afternoon and Friday will asses the updates tomorrow night.

It looks like Alfred will hit our coast lines in one way or another. I’ll be monitoring the situation today and tomorrow. If the worst should happen and we are facing flooded roads and high winds Thursday/Friday I’ll contact those booked in and re arrange a safer more suitable time. I’d rather be safe than sorry and keeping nonessential travel down is key to keeping you safe and at home if possible. Lets remain calm, don’t panic but prepare and be safe🙏🏻

SUNDAY 11:30PM: Alfred is looking pretty solid tonight with a big convective plume on the southern half / side of the system. ALL DATA remains locked in ATM for a full SEQLD cyclone coastal crossing on Thursday - NENSW you’re on the forecast southern side of the system and likely to also be impacted hard.
We are just ticking over 18hrs non stop work which is typical with a system like this threatening us. A huge amount of our time is being directed into our subscribers forecasts, maps and emails ATM. Tonight alone high risk flood maps and text issued for SEQLD & NENSW, 1 Week rainfall maps and text for QLD & NSW, 1 month March rainfall & temp maps for QLD & NSW - will finish texts in the morning brain is starting to not brain haha. Then in the morning early we update all the daily rain and storm maps and text to 3 days ahead, update the cyclone track maps and text plus make a new video forecast - oh and do live radio interviews plus answer 100's of emails. Somewhere in there we eat and p**p on the run and try and tell our wives and kids that we love them! That is all while trying to keep well informed our 1.2million followers on facebook and near 500 thousand members in our facebook group. It is actually INSANE but we love our job, it's a tough gig and there is a lot of pressure and expectation. BRING IT ON! Sorry if we don't get to all your questions.

I think Maggie is also feeling that January Slump🤣.
MutzCutz has had a horrible start to 2025 with the passing of my beloved cavalier Lady and then a death in my family and my phone company updating lines for weeks🫣.
Everything is starting to get back to normal now.
Please if you’ve tried to book in the last few weeks and didn’t get a Reply shoot me another message several Texts didn’t make it through and I didn’t get notifications of missed calls.

As usual I’m booking up quickly with the current heat and humidity 🥵.

Warning Parvovirus! - MORETON BAY AREA

We can confirm that Kroll Gardens is closed and being treated by council after dogs that have tested positive to parvovirus have confirmed they have been there.

Signs to watch for:

Vomiting: Severe vomiting that can be life-threatening

Diarrhea: Profuse, bloody
diarrhea

Lethargy: Feeling sleepy, fatigued, or sluggish

Loss of appetite: Decreased appetite

Parvovirus is a preventable disease.
Please make sure your dog’s vaccination is up to date.

If you are concerned please call your vet for some advice.

Nuggie is keeping her paws polite because she’s got important updates!
Christmas is a few short weeks away! (Did somebody say TURKEY DAY!)

If you haven’t checked in for your Christmas bookings please do so.
I’m working hard to send out updated appointments for the new year this week for all those who like their year planned ahead.

It’s more important than ever to book as far in advance as you can with majority of my clients preferring their year organized.
If you need a particular time or day be sure your book to avoid missing out. Saturdays are very busy and will only be available to those willing to book their appointments in advance.

I will be closed for Xmas again this year my last day is December 21st and my first day back in January 3rd 2025.

By the looks of it after many weeks the Bank account issues have been resolved!
A payment from one of the banks refusing payment previously went in this morning Horray! We can now hopefully go back to our regular system for payment.

Christmas booking update will be up tonight!

Sadly after serval weeks it still seems that some banks are not allowing deposits to my account.
After Multiple phone calls to my bank and others I’ve been assured the flag has been removed however it seems it’s not the case for some banking corporations. It may take longer I’m told but it’s been long enough for me.

As Such MutzCutz will be forced to close current bank accounts and open new accounts. This will sadly cause further disruption to electronic payments.

After dealing with this issue since September 17th it has obviously made me very wary of electronic payment and what access can be gained from them to unknown entities via them.

For the next few weeks at least MutzCutz will be going back to Cash only payments whilst new accounts are open and deemed functioning. I know this is frustrating however once my accounts are settled I’ll work how the safest way to go forward be that a legitimate Eftpos machine or a simple Square reader or potential Invoicing system.
Rest assured Cash payments will always be accepted here and there will not be a move to go 100% cash free. Cash is legal tender and should be treated as such.

Important post‼️‼️

Please not Sadly on Friday the 13th (of all the days🙈) I was notified that a client was very sadly and seriously Hacked and her bank accounts breached.
Even worse these mongrels used my account as a tester and send $20 to see how much access they had.

This means that on Tuesday the 17th my accounts got a red flag and were shut down.
Thankfully My client and I were able to get to her bank and prove I wasn’t the person doing anything wrong.
However it seems some banks are still noting the marker on my account. My bank has assured me this is just residual and shouldn’t be an issues anymore.

If you have issues sending me electronic payments and the bank needs to speak with you feel free to relay the info about the hack above to assure them you know who I am.

Please remember to NEVER give out your personal details, passwords or allow access to your phone or computer!
Banks, phone services ect do not require these to access your details if somebody rings or asks for a password hang up immediately..

I had this wonderful young man pop by the other day to take my unneeded dog coats. He’s doing a wonderful thing to help shelter pets. If you happen to have any food or donatable items in good condition please feel free to drop them at the salon and I’ll arrange for Jamie Life Blind to collect. Every little thing helps even if it’s just a few treats👏🏻💕
