For any clients looking for a local vet this newly opened practice is beautiful! If your female dog is:
✔️ Under 2 years old
✔️ Has not had a litter
We don’t charge a mature surcharge.

Why?
Because we believe bi***es should mature and have at least one season before desexing.
Different clinics, different beliefs — this is ours.

If you prefer early desexing (6–10 months), that’s fine too.
We won’t financially penalise you either way.

Christmas Closure.🎄🎅🏻
As usual I will be taking a short break over Xmas and new year to recharge and spend time with my own Fur Family.
My last day for 2025 is December 20th and my first day back 2026 is January 2nd.
Currently i am fully booked until the 3rd week of January.
I will arrange notifications for those who book their year in advance shortly so you know when you back in the new year.

Sadly there has been a family emergency and I need to attend the hospital.
I’m very sorry for those I’ve needed to re arrange I know this is a busy time of year. If you have an appointment and you’ve not heard from me please shoot me a message and I’ll get you situated for a new spot. The morning will run as planned.

‼️Opening Hours‼️

MutzCutz is open
Wednesday - Saturday 8am -3pm
MutzCutz is a small home based salon and as such I must adhere to council regulations for noise control, animal care standards and traffic on the street.

At drop off I do my very best to give you a rough estimate on pick up time. Sometimes my days get busy and I’m a little late and sometimes I’m a little early.
Text messages or phone calls are made when I’m almost done with your dog. Ideally this gives you 20-30minutes to collect.
I’ve had clients sadly showing up at my door step as early as 7am and picking up as late at 6pm, I’ve also had them leaving dogs for several hours after their dog is finished and when your dog barks or acts out in the salon this causes excess noise for my neighbours.

If prior arrangements are made for your booking it’s fine as I can manage my day and plan ahead, however when you don’t inform me it means I’m left waiting and sometimes makes me late for my own appointments and causes stress to neighbours around me.

If you arrive and my fence is closed it means you’re early or late and I’m not open yet/im closed, please don’t ring my door bell multiple times I always open the gates 15minutes before I start work, take your little one for a walk there’s a great doggie park down the road.
If you’re going to be running late for pick up please just let me know before you drop your dog so I can manage my time correctly.
If you need to drop off before 8am prior discussion must be made and you are required to call upon your arrival, the same goes for picking up after 3pm.
Communication is key as long as you keep me informed about changes to your day and pickup plans Im ale to manage my time accordingly.

I know my salon is home based, however that doesn’t mean I’m always home and around, I also have a very busy personal life I try to arrange around my work days.

Now the business reminder is up and I’ve put my big girl pants on, please enjoy your weekend as much as Maggie and Winnie plan to.

First time groom for little Sunny the Cavoodle. Starting grooming in puppies while they are very young is super important.
We need to teach them grooming is fun, relaxing and necessary. Waiting till 6-8months or even 12 months can cause undue stress and worry for your puppy.
Being home based I’m able to have puppies in and plan around their needs for quiet time and breaks and plenty of cuddles. When I’m able to develop trust early on it’s makes for far less stress later in life.

It’s April! When did that happen?

Easter and Anzac Day both fall within the same week this year. Please see below for my closures April:
Closed:
Good Friday April 18th
Easter Saturday April 19th
Anzac Day Friday April 25th.
Let’s hope we get some nice weather for the Easter break🐰🐰
Maddie and Nuggie are clearly looking forward to their break🤣.
