🐾 HAPPY NATIONAL DOG DAY! 🐾
Let’s be honest… at Pampered Paws, every day is National Dog Day. 😂❤️
We get to come to work every day and do what we love surrounded by dogs, covered in fur, talking absolute nonsense to them, learning all their little personalities and quirks, and somehow getting paid to cuddle them. We really did luck out. 🥹🐶
But what makes it extra special is that you trust us with them.
Your dogs aren’t just dogs to you, and we never forget that. They’re family. They’re your best mates, your couch companions, your walking buddies, your little shadows (and sometimes your absolute gremlins 😂).
So when you hand them over to us, we know you’re trusting us with something incredibly important. We’re genuinely so grateful for every single dog who has walked through our doors and every family who has chosen Pampered Paws.
Some of your pups have been coming to see us for ages. Some we’ve only just met. Some are still waiting for their very first Pampered Paws experience and we can’t wait to meet them. 🥰
So today, we want to see them ALL! 👀🐾

😂 Going to the hairdresser vs. going to the groomers…
At the hairdresser, you sit down, have a chat, maybe enjoy a coffee and calmly discuss what you’d like done.
At Pampered Paws, it’s more like entering a tiny, furry negotiation room where the client has four legs, zero understanding of personal boundaries and very strong opinions. 😂
Your hairdresser probably isn’t dodging teeth, negotiating with a wiggly bottom, chasing a tail or trying to convince someone that the dryer is, in fact, NOT trying to kill them.
But somehow, at the end of it all…
Everyone looks fabulous. Everyone smells amazing. And everyone gets told how brave they were.
Same concept. VERY different workplace. 😂🐾✂️

A little transformation from one of our recent grooms! 🐾
From fluffy, scruffy and overdue for a tidy-up ➡️ to that fresh little face and beautifully maintained coat. ✨
These are some of our favourite grooms because you get to see the transformation happen right in front of you — and that little face at the end makes all the hard work worth it! 🥹
After a incredibly busy couple of weeks we will now be closed until Thursday next week while we support our little soccer superstar follow her dreams (GO ALANNA 🤍). ⚽️💕
Please don't think we're ignoring you if you message us, Sally will have her phone and diary but will be busy so if you don't hear back, we'll get back to all admin and enquiries Thursday morning.

🐾 Meet Cooper... our gentle giant and our neighbour over at The Office Shop - Kadina🤍
When Cooper's owner asked, "Do you groom big dogs?" our answer was a very enthusiastic... YES, PLEASE! 😍
Cooper may be absolutely enormous, but nobody remembered to tell him. He's convinced he's a lap dog and believes full-body cuddles are an essential part of the grooming experience. 😂
No concept of personal space. No awareness of his own size. Just one giant, loveable boy who wanted all the pats, all the cuddles, and all the attention.
Safe to say Cooper stole everyone's hearts (and almost our balance). We can't wait to have this big teddy bear back in the salon! 🖤🐾

🌊 Meet Molly... our beautiful, goofy girl. 🤍
Molly decided the best way to prepare for her grooming appointment was to roll in the biggest piles of seaweed she could find. Because apparently arriving smelling like the ocean was part of the plan. 😂
After a good bath, blow dry, and deshed, Molly arrived wearing half the beach and left half of herself behind in the salon. We'd call that a successful deshed! 😂🐾

Well... remember Shadow, who donated enough fur to build a second Husky? 🤭
Apparently he wasn't quite finished keeping us busy.
After his deshed, Shadow celebrated by finding the muddiest bit of his yard he could and promptly rolled in it... so back to the salon he came! 😂
Safe to say he had many opinions about being blow dried for the second time, and these photos perfectly capture every stage of his emotional journey.

2️⃣ "Fine... maybe it's not so bad."
3️⃣ "Okay, I kind of like this."
4️⃣ "I HAVE NEVER BEEN HAPPIER." 😂🐾
We wouldn't have him any other way. 🤍

🐾 What an incredible couple of weeks we've had in the salon! 🤍
From nervous dogs finding their confidence, first grooms, wildly excited pups, and those who would've much preferred to stay curled up in bed... every single one left feeling fresh, happy, and smelling even better.
Here's a small snippet of some of our fav moments from the past couple of weeks. So many smiles, wagging tails, and personalities that make us love what we do every day. 🐶✨
