Whelp to Wean: Week 9 - Homeward Bound.

This week, the Toybox Trio spread their little wings and headed off to their forever families. After nine beautiful weeks of growing, learning, exploring, and snuggling, they were more than ready for their next big adventure — and they left with confidence, curiosity, and so much love.

It’s always bittersweet but seeing them welcomed into such wonderful homes is the happiest ending I could wish for.

It’s that time again — puppy packs spread across the table, contracts being double checked, tiny belongings gathered up… all the little signs that my babies are nearly ready to head off to their new homes.

Even though, for them, home has always been right here with me.

I’ve started every morning with their little faces and their blossoming personalities. I’ve lived through the midnight squeaks, the sleepy cuddles, the waggy tails, the milk drunk flops, and the kisses that somehow make the exhaustion worth it.

Watching them grow is the greatest privilege — and choosing the right families for them brings real comfort — but goodness, they still take a piece of your heart when it’s time to go.

And now it’s hitting me… they won’t be my babies for much longer at all.

I’m feeling it today 🥺❤️

Whelp to Wean: Week 7: Confidence Blossoms

Our Toybox Trio have had a huge week — exploring the sensory garden, meeting the neighbours on pram adventures, tackling tunnels and water play, braving their first vet visit, and even enduring their very first bath. Their confidence is blooming, their curiosity is endless, and their personalities are shining brighter every day.
