So I had a bit of a fall at a pet care 9 days ago when a timber step broke and twisted my spine with some ligament pulled and nerve pain. So still had my daughter andvworker helping to keep all our pet care babies happy. Getting better but slower than I would like

So it is with sad news😥
I won’t be leading this years Anzac Day parades at JIMBOOMBA or REDLANDS due to my mum injuring her back😢🇦🇺this will be the first time in 10 years that I won’t be able to represent the heavy horses that served in war and to remember the men, women and animals that help keep our country safe🇦🇺We are looking forward to next year as will miss seeing all who march with pride on this day of remembrance 🎖️🇦🇺

Holiday Survival Tips to keep your pets happy and safe this festive season;

🎄Clean up rubbish (food and presents) quickly and carefully. Ensure they are completely out of reach of your pet or in a secure bin to avoid moments like this!

🎄No sharing human food. Do not share any food or drinks with your pets. It is safest to make it a blanket rule of no sharing as so many foods can be very dangerous to pets. And make sure guests/visitors know too.

🎄Create a quiet, safe, isolated place for your pet to go and get away from a noisy environment. Make sure guests know that area is off-limits.

🎄Keep them safe or locked up when people and cars are coming or going. Open doors and gates are the perfect opportunity for escapees. More cars and unfamiliar drivers can increase the risk of your pet being run over.

🎄Keep Christmas decorations and lights out of reach. Inquisitive dogs and cats may like to play or chew decorations which can lead to disastrous accidents.

🎄Don't force your pet to interact with people or other pets if they don't want to. This could result in anxiety or uncharacteristic aggression.

🎄Be understanding that your pet may be more stressed by the extra people and activities around the holiday season.
