🚻✨ Toilet access is back – hooray! ✨🚻

After a long wait (and a few desperate dashes home 🏃‍♀️💨), we’re excited to let everyone know the toilet block is officially open again!

A huge thank you to our amazing sponsors for the 2025 season – without their support, we wouldn’t have been able to fund this upgrade. Their contribution has allowed us to install an automatic door closer and a secure pin-code entry system so we can finally have reliable, safe access.

📩 All pony club and ground hire members will receive an email shortly with the code.

We know how inconvenient it’s been, and we truly appreciate your patience. This is a big win for our members.

⚠️ But here’s the deal… With this privilege comes responsibility. Please treat the facility with respect:

✅ Use bins for rubbish

✅ Don’t flush nappies or sanitary products (use the bins provided)

✅ Don’t test what else can “fit down there” (yes, we’ve seen it all!)

If misuse happens, we’ll have no choice but to close access again – and nobody wants that. Please don’t be the one person who ruins it for everyone else!

💡 Don't forget - for the remainder of 2025, ground hire membership is 50% off. This gives you full access to the grounds – including the indoor arena, grass arenas (refer to calendar), toilets, and wash bays.

🌟 Good luck to one of our JPC members, Heidi, as she heads off to represent Queensland and The Kooralbyn International School at the upcoming Interschool Nationals with her beautiful horse Palais Royale (affectionately known as Elliot). 🐴✨

This duo is still new – with less than a year together – but Heidi has worked incredibly hard to build their bond and it shows. Earlier this year they pulled out an amazing result, taking Reserve Champion in the Primary Show Horse category at Interschool States.

At just 11, Heidi has shown such dedication and passion, and together with Elliot they’re becoming an amazing team. 💙💛

We’re so proud of the pair, and we can’t wait to see them shine on the national stage. 🙌🌟 Wishing them all the luck – and remember, no matter the results, we’re already so proud of you both!

It’s been a busy few weeks for Jimboomba Pony Club members, from Pony Club rallies to all sorts of different competitions and training.

This past weekend members were fortunate enough to be treated to a special Trick Riding session at our Pony Club rally thanks to Hollie from HLS Trickriding & equestrian services. Our members absolutely loved learning all about trick riding and we appreciate Hollie’s time in bringing her gear and giving our members this opportunity.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our amazing former member, Lynette Lawer.

If you have ever attended a Jimboomba Pony Club event, chances are you were greeted with Lynette’s warm smile, served by her in the canteen, or guided by her helpful hand. She was a cornerstone of our community for many years, giving her time generously to volunteer in the canteen, preparing sandwiches and an array of baked goods—most famously her much-loved peppermint slice. Lynette’s kindness, hard work, and dedication touched so many, and her presence was felt at every event she helped bring to life.

Lynette’s passion for horses, particularly Arabians, was extraordinary and something she shared lovingly with her children and grandchildren. She leaves behind a legacy of horsemanship, community spirit, and unwavering kindness. Alongside her beloved husband, Eric, Lynette also fostered over 20 children, guiding them with love, compassion, and wisdom. What a privilege it must have been for those children to have been cared for by someone so selfless and giving.

Our thoughts are with her beloved husband Eric, Cynthia, CJ, her grandchildren and family during this heartbreaking time.

On behalf of Jimboomba Pony Club and all its members, we want to thank you, Lynette, for everything you gave to our club and community over the years. Your dedication, love, and generosity have left a lasting mark on every single one of us. The world feels a little darker without your bright spirit, but your memory will forever remain in our hearts.

And, there’s more! We held our Gymkhana yesterday which was a wonderfully successful day but that will have a post of its own.

Good Evening all,

Just a few notes for tomorrow.
For the formals we will be doing a slightly staggered start.
Assisted, 8 & Under, 9&10 years and 11& 12 years will commence their formals on the grass arena at 8am Sharp.
At 8:45am the 13-14, 15-16, 17-26 & Seniors will commence their flatwork.
At the end of judging the formals we will bring the sporting gear out, 8 & Unders, 9-10 will head straight to SJ. Which will run in order of age.

Please remember to sign into the nominations window at the club house, bring your Horse Health Dec and proof of pc membership to get your wristband. No wristband no ride.

Its going to be a fantastic day with plenty of prizes, so we will see you then!
