SOME FRIENDLY ADVICE FOR THE CHILLY MONTHS ๐ง๏ธ๐ง๐ฅถ
It is vitally important that you continue to care for your pet's coat over the cooler months. Small matts can tug and pull at the skin, creating sores and allowing potential infection in.
Regular handling (and even just five minutes of brushing) every day can help prevent this, help keep you aware of any changes in your pet that may require vet attention, and also keeps your dog or cat used to grooming, preventing any unnecessary stress.
It also means that when it does come time for a coat tidy up, your pet's fur can stay a good length to help insulate them when it's cooler.
If you need help due to a busy lifestyle or other circumstances do not hesitate to ask-I'm often available-regular grooming is such an important part of your pets health-no matter what coat type- and also goes a long way to building a closer bond with your pet!
This was the result of a three hour groom on a severely matted small breed dog-needless to say he is feeling much better!
