To our customers, we are truly grateful for your confidence in our program. 2025 has been amazing!

It seems every year it gets a little easier as the quality of horses aswell as their ability and desire climbs.

The friendship, camaraderie and competitive push from our fellow trainers always keep us on our toes. It’s what makes our industry so great, to have people to lean on, share ideas, have a whine and a (wine) every now and then!

We’re excited to be bringing a new group of horses onto the show string in 2026 alongside our valued team, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.

Celebrating Dr Mark McGarry

Today we celebrate Dr Mark McGarry, long-term EVA member, proud family man, Queensland State Representative and much-loved figure within our community. A dedicated racing veterinarian, Mark brings expertise, calm professionalism and exceptional communication to every horse and client he works with.

Outside of practice, Mark is a keen golfer and one of the brains behind the highlight of the Australian golfing calendar - the legendary Bain Fallon Golf Day. He also naturally takes the role of MC at our Queensland State Meetings (always held at a golf course, of course), balancing organisation, humour and that unmistakable twinkle in his eye.

Known for cutting a dash in a blazer and enjoying a good red wine, Mark adds charm, warmth and a generous dose of style to every EVA event. His collegiality, reliability and genuine care for others embody the best of who we are as a profession.

Mark, thank you for your leadership, your generosity and the spirit you bring to EVA. We’re very lucky to have you in our tribe. ❤️

Keryle Devlin is the epitome of what this industry is about! She does it for the love of the horse and her AQHA friends.

Keryle has maintained Don’t Doubt Eddie at home herself with some online lessons for quite a while and has done an amazing job.

There has been trials, there has been tribulations, there has been winning runs with a bobble right infront of the judge and there has been success of course.

‘That’s horse showing’ as Keryle would say as she would then go on to list all of the good parts of her pattern or class, because she is in it for the right reasons!

Today was her day! Winning the Select Amateur Horsemanship at the Vic State from 22 riders!

We couldn’t be happier and prouder!
