🐾 TICK ALERT FOR DOGS & CATS 🐾

This paralysis tick was removed from a patient today!

⚠️ Signs of tick paralysis may include:
• Weakness or wobbliness
• Difficulty standing or walking
• Changes in bark or meow
• Vomiting or gagging
• Difficulty breathing
• Complete paralysis

🔍 Check your pets daily, especially around:
✔️ Head and neck
✔️ Ears and under collars
✔️ Between the toes
✔️ Under the tail
✔️ Around the chest and armpits

Prevention is always better than treatment! Make sure your pet is up to date with an effective tick prevention product. Not all products provide the same level of protection, so if you're unsure what's best for your pet, our team is happy to help.

💙 Friday Feel-Good Story 💙

After being missing for several months, Theodore's family had almost run out of leads.

Thankfully, a kind-hearted member of our community found him and brought him into us to see if he had a microchip.

The best part?

His microchip details were up to date.

Within minutes, we were able to contact his family and help reunite Theodore with the people who had been missing him for months. 🐾❤️

Today is a wonderful reminder of just how important microchips and current contact details can be. They turn what could be a sad ending into a happy one.

A huge thank you to the lovely lady who took the time to stop, care, and bring Theodore in. Because of your kindness, one very special cat is back where he belongs.

Floyd is in with us today for a sedated nail trim and making himself right at home with plenty of cuddles and attention along the way ❤️
