Not only do Lex and Tyler run dog obedience classes, they also do pet sitting and rat boarding (if we are ever unavailable for your babies, we 1000% recommend them), human training in pet CPR, host work experience students, pet concierge for weddings and events, AND foster guinea pigs! Whew! Talk about dedication!

Show them some love with a like and follow, and keep your eyes peeled for them at one of the many local events they attend.

Meg has zero concept of time other than Dinner Time and Nap Time, so she doesn't get the Sunday Scaries (pro tip: if you have a job you love, you don't get the Scaries either). I captured this cute moment of Meg licking her cage in preparation for her breakfast, and I just thought it was so cute!

D&L's Week in Review!

Dino is off in Austria at the moment, so I've been holding down the fort and looking after ALL of the animals. He had to sneak in one last chicken cuddle before flying out 🐓 His trip has been far from boring and he even went to an Austrian zoo! Peep the last photo to see the kind of things he takes photos of for me 😅

We've had several guinea pigs boarding this past week, including some piggies from Brisbane Southside Guinea Pig Sanctuary who required twice daily medications and extra care while they were away, plus some lovely kitties, and even some pheasants! The guy pictured is a male Golden Pheasant, and he has a real long fancy tail.

💰 I've now set up PayID to make electronic payments even easier! All you need is my phone number, which I can give on confirmation of booking.

Welcome to our first instalment of in which we share our favourite local businesses. As a small business ourselves, we know how important word-of-mouth and personal recommendations are, and we strongly believe in supporting our local community.

Bex, the creative mind behind these gorgeous tabletop RPG dice, and her family, are currently at Supanova Comic Con & Gaming (that's a big deal for a small business!), and D&L are looking after their little furry sweethearts this weekend.

Website Update!

I don't know why this took me such a long time (nearly 3 years!) to work out that I could create a Google form on our website for our Pet Sitting Agreement instead of getting people to PRINT IT OUT. Who even has a printer these days?

Hey friends, it's been a hot minute since you've heard from us. Rest assured, we are still doing the things, but life and day jobs and illness has just taken up a huge part of our time lately. I will be getting back to all emails and messages today, and finalising all current bookings for the next couple of weeks.

Dino is off to Austria in just over a week, to represent Australia as a Non-Skating Official for the Roller Derby World Cup (its s big deal, trust me!) Of course it's over the winter school holidays, so I'll be solo loking after all your pets(and our own!) while he's gallivanting about overseas 😝

Even though it's winter, please reach out to me if you require guinea pig grooming - those long coats and long nails don't just magically sort themselves out! I'm typically available Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays for grooming.

And just a reminder that we are unable to offer overnight stays. We can do once or twice daily visits to your home, or for small pets (guinea pigs etc), we offer boarding in our home from $8/night.

TDIF! (Thank Dog It's Friday!)

Tess is drooling at the thought of all the yummy treats she's going to eat this weekend 🍖

We are off to the Ipswich Show this weekend (mostly just to see all the cool chickens and pigeons!), and we have a a few guinea pigs and a little parrotlet boarding with us at the moment, so we'll be hanging out with them too.
