🐶🤎 Three weeks already 🐾

Our little Darling crew are absolutely thriving and growing so beautifully. Watching these tiny babies transform from sleepy newborns into curious, interactive little puppies is one of the greatest joys of breeding.

At 3 weeks old:
✨ Eyes and ears are fully open
✨ Little personalities are starting to emerge
✨ They’re beginning to wobble around confidently
✨ Early socialisation and enrichment has begun
✨ And as you can see… they are gaining weight beautifully 💛 and they love having soft toys to snuggle and sniff in their enclosure.

We monitor every puppy closely from birth, including daily weights in those critical early weeks, because healthy growth is such an important indicator of wellbeing and strong development.

Our beautiful mini babies are now 2 weeks old. They’re growing, thriving, and already developing their own tiny personalities. We honestly thought this litter would be much smaller… but these sweet surprises had other plans 🤍

🖤🤍🖤Oh my sweet boy Stanley. I’m so incredibly proud of how he’s been watching over his sister Maizy, and her sweet puppies. Stanley is the “Uncle Doula” of our pack. He stays near by when the mothers whelp, and watches over the puppies when they’re little and mum needs a break.

This is his 5th litter that he’s helped care for, and every time it astounds me how this crazy, siren howling, sock stealing, cuddle monster of a boy can step straight into his “nanny” role when a mother gives birth. Dogs are incredible.

Tiny peeps, sleepy snuggles and brand new little lives 🥹✨
During these first weeks our puppies are completely dependent on mumma, using scent and touch to navigate their world while we carefully begin ENS, ESI and gentle handling exercises.

🧡🤎The tiniest little update from our nursery 🧡🤎

These precious babies are spending their days exactly as nature intended… tucked close to warmth, drinking milk, sleeping deeply and steadily gaining weight.

At this age puppies are still blind and deaf, relying almost entirely on touch, scent and instinct to find their Mumma Maizy and littermates. It’s such a quiet and delicate stage of development, and one I always try to protect with calm handling and plenty of uninterrupted rest.

For now we’re simply soaking in these sleepy newborn days before their little eyes begin to open to the world. 🧡🤎

🧡🐶After a year away from working with puppies— a year filled with challenges, multiple surgeries, pain, loss, recovery, and a big move — I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been officially cleared by my surgeons and physio to return to doing what I love most.
🧡🐶Breeding and raising Darling Labradoodles🧡🐶

To ease back in, I’ll be welcoming (fingers crossed!) a litter of Mini puppies around mid-January 2026.
I couldn’t be more excited to get back into the rhythm of puppy paws, training, and all the joy that comes with it.
This past year has been one of the hardest of my life — both physically and emotionally. There were moments I wasn’t sure I’d get here. But I did, thanks to the love and support of my incredible family, dearest friends, and my beautiful community of Guardian families, Darling Puppy owners (here in Australia and overseas), and loyal followers.

From the bottom of my heart — thank you for your patience, encouragement, and love. I feel it deeply, and I’m endlessly grateful for all the messages and visits.

Here’s to new beginnings, healing, and happy, wagging tails ahead. 🐾💫

Things have been quiet at Darling HQ since our last litter in September. On November 1, I had shoulder reconstruction surgery, and was in a sling for almost 10 weeks. Unfortunately that surgery has failed.
My shoulder is currently incredibly painful, very unstable and the joint has been bleeding internally. So I’m now being scheduled for a Total Reverse Shoulder Replacement and will need to take more time off to recovery.

We’ve postponed our litters with Maizy and Parry— so I’m sending a huge thank you to their amazing guardian families for understanding, that I won’t risk the health of our mums or puppies while my arm is not functioning properly. 🙏🏻

Everyone on our waitlist has been informed and have also shown such kindness and grace.

And lastly a heartfelt thank you to my family, both real and chosen—your support over these past months has meant the world to me, during what’s been a painful and challenging time.

In the meantime, I’ll share throwbacks and puppy videos—and I’ll be back on deck with puppies as soon as I’m able.
