If your dog can’t handle the pressure of the leash, how do you expect to handle the wrath of the beast?

The leash should not be a trigger for panic, conflict, or resistance.

It should be a clear line of communication.

Before we expect a dog to stay calm around pressure, distraction, excitement, frustration, or instinct, we need to teach them how to understand and respond to the leash.
