At Tempest Blue Staffordshire Bull Terriers we aim to produce quality pups from local and imported champion bloodlines. Our pups have been bred from parents with sound conformation and excellent temperaments making them a wonderful pet or potential show dog. We do breed blue bloodlines and variations of but do not compromise on quality for the sake of colour. Our new dog, which is now a proven stud and available for stud, is bred from UK Import Champion Prototype Pommie Invasion.

Sadly we had to say goodbye to our handsome boy Sketch this afternoon. We were lucky to spend nearly 13 years with the most relaxed, friendly, easy going, happy and loving Staffy that you would ever meet. He was so tolerant when we dressed him up, when we asked him to babysit wildlife or puppies, when he was surrounded by females (dogs and humans). He had a heart of gold and could do no wrong. He sired many beautiful babies and his legacy lives on in our remaining girls. We will miss you Sketch, enjoy the other side with Polar 💕

We have a new top dog! For the first time in many years, a new breed claims first spot in the top 10 breeds, and a newcomer enters the top 10 as well.

Introducing your top 10 for 2024! 🏆🏅🐶

Changes from last year’s top 10, the Golden Retriever moves up to 1st place, with Labrador Retriever at 2nd, The Australian Shepherd takes 8th place, the Schnauzer (Miniature) claims 10th place, with the French Bulldog dropping out of the top 10.

We are excited to announce that our next litter will be sired by the Multi and International Champion Bluedogcity Pharaon at Bullscaff, with quality bred bloodlines from UK CH Valglo Jeff's Choice.
Pharaon boasts numerous highly respected titles across Europe and the UK. He is exceptionally bred, health cleared and has a beautiful temperament.
This will be a very special litter, and puppies will only go to the very best of homes.
This will be our first litter as an affiliate of .
Puppies will be raised with the potential to be a Therapy Dog.
Expressions of interest invited, you will be asked to provide comprehensive details of the home you will be able to offer.

Tempest Blue are an ethical breeder, having owned and bred Staffies since the 90s.
We currently have three generations of exceptionally bred Staffordshires.
Recently we became affiliated with Therapy Dogs Australia.
Our puppies will be bred with potential Therapy Dog careers in mind. Our kennel is a Therapy Dog Australia educated breeder and a part of their formal affiliate program.
Not only will we strive to achieve excellence in breeding amongst the Staffordshires, we now hope to produce a long line of puppies that will be prepared for future Therapy Dog careers.

Our next litter is planned mid to late 2025.

Today we said goodbye to our big white dog Polar Bear. She was just 3 months shy of 13 years old.
She was mother to Marli, grandmother to Lola and great grandmother to Alaska.
She was a stoic dog who was nurturing and loved us unconditionally. She was my best mate. You’ve left a big hole in our hearts Bear, fly free and rest easy 💔💕
