🐩 The meals arrive frozen, so place one in a bowl of hot water to defrost before dinner time.

🚨 PARVOVIRUS ALERT IN OUR COMMUNITY 🚨

We’ve recently seen a case of parvovirus in the area, so it's time for a quick reminder to all dog owners — especially those with puppies or unvaccinated dogs.

🦠 What is parvovirus?
Parvo is a highly contagious and often deadly virus that attacks a dog’s gastrointestinal system. It spreads through contact with infected poo, surfaces, or even shoes and paws. Once it's in the environment, it can linger for a long time.
⚠️ Symptoms to watch for
Lethargy or weakness
Vomiting
Bloody or foul-smelling diarrhoea
Loss of appetite
Fever or low body temp
🐶 Who is most at risk?
Puppies under 6 months
Unvaccinated or incompletely vaccinated dogs
Dogs in shared spaces (parks, kennels, shelters)
✅ What can you do?
Vaccinate! It's the most effective protection.
Keep puppies at home until they’ve completed their vaccination course.
Avoid high-traffic dog areas until your dog is fully vaccinated.
If your dog shows any symptoms — contact us immediately.
💉 Prevention is key. Treatment is intensive, costly, and not always successful. If you're unsure about your pet’s vaccination status, give us a call — we’re happy to check and help get them up to date.

Jack and Chelo started 5 years ago when I was the proud mum of two little Maltese Shihtzus (named Jack and Chelo!).

I’m a qualified Chef who has worked in a number of top restaurants around Australia, New Zealand and London and I strongly believe that the nutrition of our pets is just as important as it is for humans.

A diagnosis of Cushings Disease in 2018 for Jack prompted me to dig a little deeper into the commercial dog food industry. I was extremely concerned by some of her findings… and you should be too.

Largely unregulated with vague minimum standards, most factory mass producers and some smaller scale dog food brands only manage to ‘meet’ these very basic industry requirements by creative reporting on the nutritional value and content in the fine print, and the use of fillers with little to no nutritional value.

I was determined to improve the quality of Jack and Chelo’s diet, and started creating delicious and nutritious food for my two pups with the help of a certified pet nutritionist.

Upon seeing the obvious benefits, Jack and Chelo was born. And now these carefully curated and scientifically formulated meals are available for your doggo to enjoy!
