There’s something special about coming back to build catio number two. 🥹🐆🐅🍃

This family was actually one of our earliest clients, back when Backyard Catio Builder was just getting started. So when they reached out again to enclose their existing patio, we were pretty excited to be back.

This time, we transformed the patio into another safe outdoor space for the kitties — plenty of room to roam, relax and watch the world go by. 🍃

This one now gives the kitties plenty of room to explore, lounge around and enjoy the fresh air, while the family can still use the patio as they always have.

That’s exactly why this family chose a double-door catio — giving them extra peace of mind knowing their curious kitties can enjoy the outdoors safely and securely. 😽🍃✨

We were so delighted to be part of this beautiful build. Everything was organised over email, and with the installation going smoothly, we had the catio finished just in time for sunset. 🌅🐾

This Monument catio, complete with an elevated cat walkway, was one of our favourite projects to build. We feel so grateful to have played a small part in creating a home where every member of the family—including the cats—can enjoy more happiness every day. 😽💕🍃

This monument catio with its suspended cat walkway was designed to give the kitties a safe place to climb, explore and soak up the sunshine — because a dream home should bring joy to every member of the family. 💕

This is easily one of our most impressive catios to date! 🏡🍃

We’d call this a true catio because it transforms an existing patio into a spacious outdoor haven where the kitties can safely enjoy fresh air, sunshine, and all the sights and sounds outside. 😽💕

Every detail was carefully considered—from painting the timber in a classic cream to seamlessly match the patio, to using black wire mesh for a low-visibility finish that keeps the view open.

For the front-facing side, we also used larger 35mm × 70mm timber for the posts and beams to create a stronger, sturdier frame while complementing the existing structure.

Now we can’t wait for the kitties to discover their brand new outdoor paradise! 🍃✨😽
