☆The silver chinchilla point looks lighter than the regular chinchilla; it is almost white, but its shade of whiteness is warmer, the pattern of chinchilla tipping Gray Shadow Alta is not so contrasting due to its lightness. In addition, the color of the chinchilla point is thermodependent: the colder it is in the body where the cat is located, the darker its color. The coat color of colored chinchillas is more pronounced on points: muzzle, tail, ears, paws. Therefore, even in the lightest individuals, these areas are visible on a dark body: a characteristic Siamese “mask” is observed on the “muzzle”, the tail is colored almost the same as in ordinary, uncolored, chinchillas. The eyes of the chinchilla point are very beautiful, deep blue; but unlike ordinary chinchillas, they lack a bright showy touch. In this case, the stroke around the nose of the chinchilla is dotted.
