The aim of the Fraser Coast Adoption Centre is to rehouse suitable cats and dogs from the Council pound. The page is designed to raise awareness of the Adoption Centre facility and its function; promote available cats and dogs; reinforce responsible pet ownership and encourage community volunteers. The Fraser Coast Adoption Centre’s use of this page will be influenced by engagement from c

ommunity members. If you wish to ask a question on a topic not covered in a post or request a formal response from Council please email it to [email protected]

More information about the Fraser Coast Adoption Centre can be found on Council’s website at www.frasercoast.qld.gov.au/adoptioncentre. In order to provide a positive experience for all users, Fraser Coast Adoption Centre will intervene and remove posts when they are deemed to have breached these terms and conditions. The terms and conditions include, but are not limited to:

😍 Missy's magnificent new Home 😍

We love hearing from the families who have adopted pets from us and seeing the adorable pics they have to share! Our latest update is really such a beautiful one. It sure looks like Missy is now living her life to the fullest. Here's what her new parents said:

"This sweet girl has fitted in perfectly with our family. Morning walks around the neighbourhood and afternoon walks in the forestry. Missy has met our horses with kisses, has met some great mates and done so many zoomies. Off lead walks, bones in the backyard. The sound of her happy thumping tale is music to my ears. I often find my teenage boy's snuggling with her."
