🐴What a fun Saturday it was! 🐴

was a hive of activity with riders of all ages on ponies and horses getting involved in a fantastic jump training day.

From careful course walking to popping through a course of jumps -there was plenty of concentration, some nervous giggles, many proud grins and plenty of pats given.

Huge thanks to our riders, parents, friends and Coach Candice for making it such a great day — your energy and attention to detail does not go unnoticed.

And of course, no training day is complete without snaaaaaaacks at the end as a well-earned reward (ponies included, naturally 😉).

🧡🐴MONTY🐴🧡

It’s winter🥶 and high time for our ray of ginger sunshine ☀️ to warm your HEARTS. Our compaign continues with our most handsome Monty.

Monty is close to 17 hands high - our very own ginger giant. He is a striking chestnut thoroughbred gelding 🐎 who has enough personality for a crime thriller, a Hollywood blockbuster and a children story series.

Monty is our biggest goofball, endlessly playful and compliant but only when doing EXACTLY what he wants to do.

He is probably our messiest eater and only allows our most experienced and advanced to ride him as patience is not his strong suit. However put him into our on-the-ground therapy program and he softens, lets down his guard and tunes into his inner puppy-dog- angel, happy to teach participants how to lead and handle a horse.

Monty detests blankets, waiting for food and not getting his way.

He loves food, playing with his mates, rolling in mud, meal times, throwing his food bucket, standing in his food bucket, chasing chickens 🐔 and being doted over.

In true thoroughbred style if there is the tinniest scratch Monty believes he may not survive and therefore needs 24/7 loving and care. This boy is the definition of domesticated.

With stunning movement rarely seen in thoroughbreds he rides like a dream and is a highlight in the herd.

🐴 TOP TACK TIPS🐴

There’s never a dull moment when you’ve got friends with four hooves and long faces — and one of the many ways they keep us busy is tack cleaning!

Each of our horses have their own individually fitted bridle and saddle - which is carefully fitted by professionals to ensure comfort and correct anatomical fit for both horse and riders. Ongoing fits and checks ensures that as the horses change between seasons - their equipment does as well.

When it comes to our horses, only the best will do! 🧡

To keep everything safe and in top condition, all of our tack is regularly cleaned and treated with leather balm or a leather balsam. And we have a firm favourite in leather balsam — Carr & Day & Martin Belvoir Leather Balsam. Honestly, the smell alone makes the whole job worthwhile… second only to the smell of horses themselves, of course! 😄🐎

A little love and care for our gear means our beautiful horses and our clients stay safe and comfortable (and looking their best) at every session.

🐴It’s Farrier Friday! 🐴

Today we’re showing some well-deserved love and appreciation for the incredible team of farriers who keep our horses happy and healthy.

No hoof, no horse — and we couldn’t believe in that saying more. Every one of our horses has an individual farrier plan tailored to their needs, with visits every 4 to 6 weeks to keep those hooves in top shape. 🐎

Some of our horses wear shoes, some go barefoot, and some transition between the two — because at , it’s always about what’s best for them.

A new pair of shoes every 4 to 6 weeks sounds like a dream!

It’s demanding, back-breaking work, and we are endlessly grateful for the skill, care and dedication our farrier crew brings — from our tiniest ponies to our tallest horses, every hoof and frog 🐸 gets the attention it deserves. 🙏

🌸 Happy Mother’s Day 🌸

An enormous happy Mother’s Day to every mum in our lives and in our beautiful community — from our horsey mums to our kiddy mums, our volley mums to our puppy mums, our mare mums who raised our foals who are our horses now, as well as our mum’s mum, future mum’s and mum’s to be. We see you. We thank you and we love you ❤️

We thank you for your time, your patience, and your unconditional love through every season — and every major weather event. 🌧️☀️

We love that you turn up and show up — for our community, our kids, our horses, and our animals.

For the never-ending poo picks, the videos, the pictures, the drop-offs and fetches, and the longest of waits… because there is always one more thing to do at the stables - it’s a place where time simply works differently. 🐴

Today we celebrate you — and every quiet, muddy, beautiful thing you do. Not just today, but every day. 💛

🌙 After the horses 🐴 , ponies, pigs 🐷 and chickens 🐓 have had their dinner — waters filled, hay given out — the sun goes down, the moon rises and our nightlife at comes alive. 🐸🌿

Turn your sound on to hear our incredible ecosystem croak and sing. The frogs especially love basking in the moonlight! ✨
