Happy Thursday everyone. Please read below for new policies and procedures

I can't believe it's May already, I just want to welcome all my new clients that have joined my Fluff n Stuff family. I think I have met everyone now, it's wonderful to have you all join me.

Just a few things as we head in to winter
Hygiene Tidies are a must this winter. Please keep up to date with your dog's grooming especially if you have an Oodle breed. These coats tend to knot quickly and once that starts matting will happen. Shaving matting out at the end of winter is a physically tough job on both your dog and me. It takes me longer to do, can damage my equipment faster and the dog gets over it pretty quickly. Matting can also be painful for the dogs. It can be tight and pulls on the skin. For this reason I suggest you book your dog in for their regular appointments where I can brush out any knots starting to form. This will also keep their coats healthy. Any dog who comes to me with matting will now include a matting fee.

Remember your dog's body temperature is different to our bodies. If you have your heater or fire going and your dog has a long coat please have a cooler area for it to go cool down. We can keep coats longer in winter but they can get hot very quickly. For us it is like having a long sleeve top and jumper on constantly with the heater going.

Also I have implement a credit card number onto the online bookings. Please add this, as your appointment won't be accepted otherwise.

I have had a lot of no shows or last minute cancellations lately so because of this I have changed my reminder texts to 2days prior now. Please confirm your appointment to the reminder text. Once this text is sent any cancellations within 24hr prior to your appointment or no shows will be charge 50% of your appointment fee. As you all can appreciate I am running a small family owned business and having a last minute cancellation or no show hugely affects my time as that appointment could have been for someone else.

I hope you all can understand why I need to apply these policies, at the end of the day my best interest lies with your dog and keeping them looking and feeling their best.

Easter School holiday hours

I will be closed from Friday 3rd April (Good Friday) to Wednesday 8th.

I will then close again Friday 10th to Monday 13th and again for Friday 17th.

Thank you everyone for your ongoing love and support especially these last couple of weeks. It’s so comforting to know that I can be a mum first especially when my kids need me the most. From my family to yours we hope you all have a wonderful and safe Easter holiday
