SERVICES & PRICES
We offer a professional grooming service for all breeds of dogs including breed standard styling. All grooming and bathing includes nails trimmed and ears cleaned. All shampoos used here at Posh Paws are top of the range hypoallergenic. PLEASE NOTE: due to the varying sizes of the “oodle” dogs, it is very hard to give a price tha
t estimate over the phone. The smaller “oodles” generally will fall under the small or medium size and the larger ones will fall under Large to x/Large. The “oodle” coat comes in such a variety of types for example, tight poodle curl, soft wavy curls and wool types (and everything in between) and because of this it is something we need to assess on check in condition of dog’s coat will determine grooming outcome and final cost. MEDICATED SHAMPOOS
If your dog needs to be bathed in a medicated shampoo that has been prescribed by your veterinarian, please bring it with you to your appointment. BREED STYLING TO STANDARD
As these techniques and clips will vary from breed to breed please call for pricing. Pet dogs can be clipped to look like the breed style standard but at a lesser cost to the owner (compared to hand stripping and carding which can be time consuming)
If your dog comes for a groom with excessive fleas, the fleas will be treated and an extra charge will apply. DYING
We also do dog dying, ears and tails Light coloured dogs are best for dying on fur. I HEREBY UNDERSTAND THE FOLLOWING:
In the grooming process all care is taken to ensure the health of your pet. Posh Paws will do whatever is appropriate for the well being of all pets while in their care, however if the services of a veterinarian are required, Owner authorize Posh Paws to obtain veterinarian treatment in the case of an incident or serious medical problem being discovered during grooming. Owner agrees that Posh Paws, its owners and operators are not liable for any pre-existing conditions and problems found during grooming and Owner agrees to pay for all medical treatment incurred due to such. Posh Paws is not a vet and any advice given regarding health problems should at all times be checked with a vet. In the event of matted hair, needing a shave down/clip down, Owner should be aware that irritation may occur from the shaving process, as well as uncovering nicks, and cuts, a medicated bath is recommended. Owner agrees that Posh Paws shall not be held liable for any after-grooming effects of matt clipping procedures or problems "uncovered" on a badly matted neglected coat which could include, but are not limited to the following: itchiness, skin redness or self inflicted irritations/abrasions from excessive external rubbing. Posh Paws reserves the right to refuse to groom any pet for the safety of the groomer and the dog. A soft muzzle may be used, or services discontinued or refused for the well being of your pet, and the groomer. Owner agrees to inform Posh Paws prior to grooming if the dog has bitten or has aggressive tendencies. Owner understands they will be held liable for all bites caused by the dog. Owner agrees to pay all cost for the grooming of the dog including but not limited to special handling, de-matting, and fees due for late pick up, and missed appointments. Missed appointment will incur a fee of 50% of the standard grooming charge and are due before further appointments will be booked. ---Please be ON TIME or up to 15 min. early for your appointment. late, may have to re-book. (Missed appointment fees apply). Pick-up will be due at the arranged time. While Posh Paws does allow reasonable leeway for traffic and unforeseen circumstances, dogs left late will be charged a late pick up and/or sitting fee. Please call if you are running late. If you wish to drop off your dog in the morning and pick him/her up after work please make these arrangements at the time of making your appointment. A small sitting fee may apply. A 24-hour cancellation notice is required. If Posh Paws does not receive 24-hour notice, a re-booking fee will be applied. (Family emergency's will be considered). Please make sure your dog has relieved itself prior to grooming.
