Maxwell's on Bentinck will be open as usual from 8am tomorrow, Tuesday 9th May 2017, closing at 4pm.

We look forward to seeing everyone for our great Lavazza coffee, breakfast or lunch. Why not try something from our great cake and slice range or fresh scones with our house-made strawberry jam and cream.

Well this morning we received a very unexpected surprise. Mistwood Lucy (Radnor Lauren (dec) x Rivington Plush (dec)) delivered a tiny chestnut foal. Many will know we made the heartbreaking decision to sell Imperial Justin and that we had to accept that our beloved Lucy had not gotten in foal one last time to him. I had my heart set on trying one last time for that filly! It seems Lucy took matters into her own hands so to speak and conceived before she was taken out of his paddock prior to him leaving.
She is tucked up tonight with her tiny foal but not happy to let us get too close but Neville is telling me it is the much wanted filly but I have yet to see the evidence so not getting too excited. It is beautiful but tiny and doing all it should, at this point that is all I can ask of this miracle baby.
Pictures and verdict once it unscrunches and she lets me close.
I am still in shock at this late arrival and last gift from our much loved Imperial Justin and our precious Lucy!

We are seriously offering our beautiful stallion, Imperial Justin for sale. By imported deceased sire Eyarth Tigra, Justin has put beautiful, type stock on the ground with the oldest now enjoying success at the highest level under saddle.
Full pedigree is available on the WP&CS online stud book. Further photos and video available to genuine enquiries.
Justin is a wonderful boy to have around, runs with mares, great to catch, farrier, worm etc.
All his stock are showing his wonderful trainable nature and personality.
This is a hard and genuine sale, price is negotiable but home is not but he must go now.

Congratulations to Amy Silvester, new owner of the lovely filly Mistwood Phoebe. Amy fell in love with Phoebe as a goal and we are thrilled she has given her a new home where she will have a performance home. We look forward to following their adventures together.
