THE fairytale run of success enjoyed by Million Dollar Chase champion Blue Kermaro has come to a premature end with connections announcing his retirement.

💫 Simply the best 💫
sure is a fitting title for lastnight.
A race honouring the greatest breeder of all time, Paul Wheeler.
Not only was Paul a great breeder, he was a great person.
Personally getting to know Paul over the years through The Dailly’s & through Paul’s dogs was an honour for me & I’m so glad Josh and I could train a dog to win this race in the first year of its name change to honour Paul.
Thank you to Jan, Brendan, Nichole, Sienna & Georgia for being there lastnight & presenting us and our dog with a beautiful trophy & rug that will be cherished forever by Josh and I.

The other side of the race, is the dog who won it!

He is SIMPLY THE BEST!
Blue Kermaro is probably the best dog Josh and I will ever have to train, he may not be breaking track records but he is just a genuine race dog who loves to race & WIN and boy is he good at it🏆
After what started off like a day in hell & to see a dog come out an do what he did after the stress we endured getting to the track was amazing, Smokey was very reserved and calm through the whole day (unlike myself & Josh) and took to the travel (an extra 2 hours of travel) amazingly. The dog is just an absolute star chaser and we are blessed to be on this journey with him!
Awesome way to end our 2024 year & cannot wait for what he has in store for us in 2025!

🏆 Million Dollar Chase 🏆
He’s done it again… this time on an even bigger scale than normal 🫣
Smokey bear has taken out the 8th semi final and put himself in a race you dream about making!
The thrill of being a part of this race and this amazing dog is nothing short of a BUZZ for sure!
The odds were against the big fella when he drew box 7 in a field with Power and Glory who is an absolute flying machine & then to top it off drawing right beside one of our favourite boys Smooth Plane , who is also a freak and needs no introduction what so ever..
to be able to cross and take out that race is just ridiculous of Smokey and to say I was proud of him would be an understatement.. Josh and Myself have been dreaming of getting a dog like this to train for years and thanks to Ben & his family we are able too 🥰
Massive thanks to Tom and mum for getting him there and extra thanks to mum for handling him and getting him to fly out!

Smokey’s one in 8 chance of being a million dollar dog next week , get behind us & if you are in or around Sydney next week, head down to Wentworth Park Greyhounds on Friday for a great night of racing, bets and booze 🥃

He had his box again and headed to The Meadows Dogs for a confidence run on his FAVOURITE track, and did the confidence surely show!
Smokey Bear absolutely blitzed them lastnight in a cheeky 29.64 run! 🚀
There’s no denying that this dog loves the meadows but lastnight he made a statement and a half and we are so proud of him!
Thanks to Ben for always being his number one supporter and trusting us with his boy!

The little pocket rocket can do it from the red, from the pink , from in front & from behind.
Not often you get a perfect dog but Spencer is just that!
Perfect on and off the track and it’s a pleasure to be able to train this little cutie 🥰

What a week it’s been for our little kennel,
3 runners for 2 city winners and a second in the city 🥇🥇 🥈
Can’t fail to mention Tokyo Heist who was a massive run and missed out by a bloody whisker!
Still managed to get a PB at the meadows and hit the line hard!
Super proud of our kids and very thankful to our owners ♥️
