It’s been a fantastic run of National shows for MSH Training and I couldn’t be more proud of the horses representing Mirrindel Show Horses (MSH). It is always a privilege to step into the ring with such a quality group of horses.
A huge thank you to my wonderful clients who entrust me with their horses. It truly is a pleasure to show them and to have you as part of the MSH team. One thing I am particularly proud of is the way our horses are presented. MSH prides itself on the turnout of every single horse on our team. Regardless of ownership, each horse is prepared, presented and treated with the same care and attention, every horse is just as important and special as the next. You can guarantee that any horse sent to MSH will be treated as one of our own while in our care.

I do want to address something briefly. I’ve had rumours circle back to me suggesting that I somehow “set up” judges to suit myself, particularly in relation to ASEA.
To say I am tired of hearing these kinds of rumours is an understatement.
Let me be absolutely clear — I have never set up judges at any show. Ever! To do this would make the award pointless to me.
What makes the suggestion even more puzzling is as can be seen above, that the results from ASEA were very similar at two other National shows, shows that I had absolutely no involvement in running whatsoever. The same horses performed consistently across all three shows, which simply reflects the quality of the horses themselves. Also puzzling is that I have consistently achieved good results well before ASEA ever existed, across IMHR and AMHS, its not as though I’ve suddenly had an improvement in my results perhaps the truth is much simpler…
I have spent nearly 30 years breeding, being extremely selective about the bloodlines I use and maintaining a very clear vision for the quality I want to produce within my program.
Success does not come from shortcuts.
It comes from decades of careful breeding decisions, dedication and hard work. And it certainly does not come from continually bitching and trying to run your competitors down!
If people put the same amount of energy into improving their own breeding programs as they do criticising others, they too might find themselves standing proudly in the winner’s circle as well.
I will continue focusing on breeding quality horses and presenting them to the best of my ability — something that nearly three decades of work has taught me is that this matters far more than any rumours ever will.
