Panda update! She made it through her surgery and is recovering. I won't upload a photo of her stitches, which look painful.

Panda has developed an abscess that needs to be surgically removed. She was dropped off today and the vet estimated it will cost $920.

Lithgow Animal Shelter currently has two 9-week-old kittens who need some rehabilitation with an experienced foster carer. They've already made great progress during their time there.

Lithgow Animal shelter has reached out to us for help 🚨 Over the last few weeks several cats and kittens have been abandoned at the shelter. They are running out of space and there is a looming threat of euthanisation.

This is an urgent call out to save these lovely cats:

Slide 1. Banoffee
Slide 2. Baguette
Slide 3. Brioche
Slide 4. Sundae

Baguette and Banoffee are 2.5 years old, both are super friendly, great with kids and other cats and don't react with dogs. They are both desexed, microchipped and covered for parasite prevention. They do not to be rehomed as a pair, they get along but don't seem to be particularly bonded.

Brioche has been here for 2 weeks, he also had a microchip but it wasn't registered. Brioche is about a year old, desexed, parasite prevention covered, unknown vacc history. He is a bit sensitive to loud sounds and so was quite reserved when meeting children (I don't blame him) but he didn't show signs of aggression. He is also less relaxed around other cats so would need some time to get used to multicat households. He's a very friendly, sweet cat.

Sundae has only been here for a few days. She was trapped around someone's property and I am concerned that she is pregnant due to a subtly rotund belly. Very friendly, no microchip when she arrived (she has one now). She's got nice shiny teeth so I'm guessing she'd be around 1 year old, she's very gentle and hasn't showed any signs of aggression towards the other cats but she is obviously still quite reserved. I have to hold until the 20th.
