🐔 IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ, LAVENDER HENS CUSTOMERS 🐔💜
To all of our amazing Lavender Hens customers,
We have become aware of feed currently being offered for sale in Lavender Hens branded bags.
We want to make sure there is absolutely no confusion for our customers:
There is currently NO genuine Lavender Hens feed available for sale. Any variety.
Lavender Hens has changed to a completely new bag design, which has not yet been publicly revealed or released. When we officially relaunch, we will show you exactly what our new packaging looks like and advise where genuine Lavender Hens feed can be purchased.
⚠️ Until that announcement is made, please do not purchase feed currently being offered believing that it is genuine, current or authorised Lavender Hens stock.
The feed we have become aware of is not product that Lavender Hens has accepted or authorised for sale to our customers, and we cannot verify or stand behind its contents, ingredients, formulation, handling, storage, condition or quality.
Our decision not to accept the product concerned followed issues and concerns regarding the feed and its storage and handling, including signs of possible contamination and inappropriate storage conditions.
Given those concerns, we were not prepared to accept the product for sale to our customers.
The matter and our concerns have been reported to the appropriate authorities, including the Department of Primary Industries (DPI), and we are dealing with the situation through the appropriate channels. We do not intend to publicly identify or discuss any other party involved while that process is underway.
🚫 PLEASE DO NOT USE UNAUTHORISED FEED
If you choose to purchase or use feed currently being offered from an unauthorised source, you do so at your own risk.
Because the product is not being supplied or authorised by Lavender Hens, we cannot verify its contents or safety and cannot accept responsibility for any illness, serious injury, adverse reaction or death of birds or other animals arising from the purchase or use of an unauthorised product.
💜 AN IMPORTANT REASSURANCE FOR OUR EXISTING CUSTOMERS
This warning does NOT apply to genuine Lavender Hens feed previously purchased directly from us or from one of our approved stockists while our previous stock was officially available.
If you already have genuine Lavender Hens feed that you purchased through us or an approved stockist, this notice does not mean that your feed is unauthorised.
This warning relates specifically to feed now being offered for sale.
🐔 HOW WILL YOU KNOW WHEN GENUINE LAVENDER HENS IS BACK?
Simple — we will tell you. 💜
Our new feed will arrive in our brand-new Lavender Hens packaging, which is yet to be revealed. We will announce our relaunch, show you the new bags and confirm where genuine Lavender Hens feed can be purchased.
Until then, if you see Lavender Hens feed being offered and you are unsure of its origin, please contact us directly before purchasing or using it.
Our customers have supported us from the beginning, and maintaining your trust is incredibly important to us. We will not knowingly compromise on the quality of the feed we provide for your animals simply to get a product out the door.
Thank you for your patience, loyalty and continued support while we get ready for the next chapter of Lavender Hens. 💜🐔
